Court of Arbitration for Sport

Website of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) [also known as Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (TAS)], an independent institution originally established by the International Olympic Committee. The Court hears cases on sports law topics such as nationality, adjudication, sponsorship, and doping. The website provides all non-confidential decisions of the Court, together with the CAS code and statutes. Information is available on the mission and structure of CAS, arbitration and related matters. The site is available in English and French.

Japan Commercial Arbitration Association

Website of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), an independent organisation originally established in 1950 by the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The site gives an overview of the work of the JCAA, defining its main purpose as the resolution of international and domestic commercial disputes. The site provides access to Japanese full text arbitration laws in English along with rules, regulations and the standard arbitration clause developed by JCAA.

Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce

Website of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC Institute), an organisation established in 1917 to provide a neutral centre for the resolution of international trade disputes. The site offers an overview of the Institute's work and full details of its arbitration procedure, model clauses and rules, including rules for expedited arbitrations, insurance arbitration rules, rules of the Mediation Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and SCC procedures and services under the UNCITRAL arbitration rules.

Cepani

Website of Cepani, the Belgian Center for Arbitration and Mediation, originally founded by the International Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Belgian Companies. The site provides organisational information relating to the Center along with details of activities and study groups. There are sections covering Cepani's work in arbitration, mediation and domain name disputes including procedural information, Cepani's rules and relevant sections of the Belgian Judicial Code. Decisions of domain name disputes Cepani has been involved with can be downloaded from the site.

British Institute of International and Comparative Law

The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) is a London-based organisation focusing on international law, comparative law and the rule of law. BIICL was established in 1958, incorporating the Grotius Society and Society of Comparative Legislation. The BIICL website describes the institute's aims and activities, including research projects, publications, forums and events. A collection of articles is provided on the Insights page and there are brief details of the journal, International and Comparative Law Quarterly (ICLQ).

Oxford University Comparative Law Forum

This web-based journal and discussion forum was established in 2000 by members of the Law Faculty at the University of Oxford. Its aim is to promote the study and discussion of legal issues from a comparative perspective. All articles are available in full, free of charge. Most of the articles are in English, but a few are in German or French with a summary in English. Users are encouraged to register for a free discussion platform via a brief online form and to submit comments on the articles.

Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)

Website provided by the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, based in Geneva. The text of the Convention is provided in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish and there is information about ratification and national implementation. Information is given about the ongoing work of the Convention's governing body (the Conference of the Parties of the Stockholm Convention) and subsidiary bodies such as the POPS Review Committee.
