National Labour Law Profiles is a free web resource provided by the International Labour Organization (ILO). Although it is no longer updated, it continues to be made available to support historical comparative law purposes. It provides an overview of the labour law of 29 countries: Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Cameroon, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland Germany, Ghana, Guyana, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, New Zealand, Pakistan, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. The profiles give guidance and commentary on the constitution, legal system and employment legislation. There are sections on hours of work, maternity protection, equality, pay, trade unions, strikes, dispute settlements and labour courts. There are links to full-text documents, where available, and each profile includes a bibliography. Some of the profiles are in English, French and Spanish, while others are one of these languages only.
