Official website of the New Zealand Employment Court which has jurisdiction over all matters relating to employment disputes. The site provides information on the history, role and structure of the court and gives an outline of the key pieces of legislation that resulted in the setting up of the Court. There is guidance on taking a case to the Employment Court including a link to the full text of the Employment Court Regulations 2000. All the related forms are available to download. Full text judgements are available from 2006 onwards and can be downloaded in PDF. The most important decisions taken by the Court are highlighted. The names of all the judges sitting at the Court are given going back to 1894 when the court was first set up as the Court of Arbitration.
