Algerian law guide

A commentary and bibliographic resource guide concerned with Algerian law, legal materials and research written by Dahmène Touchent, a legal information specialist and journalist responsible for the Algerian legal database, Lexalgeria. The guide is published on the Globalex website and is made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author presents an overview of law and the legal system in Algeria with reference to the main print, electronic, and free web sources.

McLibel Trial

Website publishing a range of information about the "McLibel Trial", the libel case brought by multinational company McDonalds against two London activists, which became the longest court case in English history. The site has been developed by the London based McLibel Support Campaign, a group formed in 1990 to raise funds for the defendants. The judgement is made freely available on the site in full text or summary form. Other legal materials on the site include the defendents' appeal against the judgement and a copy of the leaflet at the centre of the trial, "What's Wrong with McDonalds".

Jus.no

Continuing legal education portal created jointly by the Norwegian Bar Association, the Norwegian Association of Lawyers and the Centre for Continuing Legal Education. The site offers e-learning material and details of in-person training. Jus.no is in Norwegian.

Guide to Indian laws

A resource guide focusing on Indian laws and the legal system in India written by V. Ramakrishnan, an experienced lawyer practising in Chennai, South India. Caribbean Law Project

The Caribbean Law Project provides access to the legal materials of Caribbean countries via CommonLII, the Commonwealth Legal Information Institute website. The collection includes databases of cases and legislation from: Anguilla; Antigua & Barbuda; the Bahamas; Barbados; Belize; British Virgin Islands; Cayman Islands; Dominica; Grenada; Guyana; Jamaica; St Kitts & Nevis; St Lucia; St Vincent & the Grenadines; Trinidad & Tobago. It is also possible to search external legal websites listed on the catalogue pages of each of the Caribbean jurisdictions.

Bolivian legal system and legal research

Online guide to Bolivian legal materials written by Mauricio Ipiña Nagel who is a founding partner of Ipiña Nagel Abogados in La Paz, Republic of Bolivia. The guide was published in 2009 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. Criminal Justice Profiles is a site providing information on careers in criminal justice and law enforcement in the United States. The site is intended for criminal justice professionals, job seekers and students. Profiles contain information on what the job involves, qualifications required and salaries. Careers profiled include police officer, prison warder, probation officer, CIA agent and court reporter along with less obvious careers including coast guard, fish and game warden and forensic accounting.
