African Journals OnLine

African Journals OnLine provides access to more than 800 journals published in Africa, including law titles, with many articles available free of charge. It was established as a project by the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications. Users can register for email alerts.

Journal of Appellate Practice and Process

The Journal of Appellate Practice and Process is edited by faculty members of the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas. The Journal is focused on the appellate court system and is aimed at appeal judges, trial judges, legal practitioners and academics in the United States and other countries. The contents pages of the journal are available on the site back to 1999. Subscription and editorial information is available on the site, subscriptin being required for access to the articles.

Delaware Law Review

The Delaware Law Review is published by the Delaware State Bar Association and the contents pages are made freely available on their website. The Review is published twice a year and contains scholarly articles focusing particularly on Delaware law.

IRLII Periodical Index

The Irish Legal Information Initiative (IRLII) Periodical Index is produced under the auspices of the Law Faculty at the University College, Cork and made freely available on the IRLII website. The index contains a compilation of 23 legal journals dating back to 1997 many focusing on Irish legal issues. The index includes titles such as the Irish Law Times, Dublin University Law Journal, Northern Ireland legal Quarterly and the Irish Jurist. The index can be browsed by individual journal or searched by keyword.

Journal of Criminal Law

Website of the academic Journal of Criminal Law (JCL) which is published 6 times a year by Vathek Publishing in the Isle of Man. JCL is aimed at practitioners and academics providing "detailed analysis of what is happening in the courts - at every level from magistrates' court right up to the House of Lords and the European Court of Human Rights". The journal provides case notes, commentary and articles with contents pages and abstracts for the current issue. The site has contact details for the editors and the editorial board along with a page of Web links.

Journal of International Economic Law

Web pages of the Journal of International Economic Law, which is published by Oxford University Press (OUP). The site provides free access to contents and abstracts and subscribers can read full-text articles dating from 1998 onwards. The journal is aimed at scholars, government officials and legal professionals and includes editorials, articles, book reviews and notes. The journal looks at legal issues relating to international economic activity.

Indigenous Law Bulletin

Website of the Indigenous Law Bulletin (ILB) a refereed journal which appears eight times a year and is published by the Indigenous Law Centre at the University of New South Wales in Australia. The journal which started in 1981 provides "up-to-date information, discussion and analysis of issues that relate to Indigenous peoples and the law." Subjects covered by the journal include human rights, intellectual property, sovereignty, native title, land rights and discrimination.

Theoretical Inquiries in Law

Theoretical Inquiries in Law is an academic legal journal providing a forum for the analysis of law and law-related subjects. The website is part of the Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress) service which aims to offer a swift and streamlined publication process for authors, reviewers and readers in the field of legal publishing. The Cegla Institute for Comparative and Private International Law, University Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv publishes the printed journal twice a year in January and July.

Global Jurist

Global Jurist is a continuously updated annual journal published by The Berkeley Electronic Press. It is a forum for scholarly cyber-debate on issues of comparative law, law and economics, international law, law and development, and legal anthropology. Its editors and authors come from around the world, enabling it to offer multi-national perspectives on global law issues. The website offers instructions for contributors, subscription information, contents and abstracts.
