Les Cahiers de Droit

Website for Les Cahiers de Droit, a legal review established in 1954 at Laval University Law faculty in Quebec, aiming to promote the development and evolution of legal sciences in Quebec and intended for practitioners and legal scholars. Four issues are published annually presenting articles on legal doctrine and bibliographic chronicles with an annual thematic issue offering a critical assessment of the state of law in Quebec, Canada and internationally. Statute Law Review

The Statute Law Review (online ISSN: 1464-3863) began in 1980 and is published by Oxford University Press in association with the Statute Law Society. The Review aims to further the study of legislative drafting, statutory interpretation, and the process of parliamentary scrutiny around the world. It is intended for lawyers in both private practice and public service, and academics with an interest in public law, public administration and political science.

International Society for Military Law and the Law of War

The International Society for Military Law and the Law of War is an international non-profit association based at the Palais du Justice in Brussels. The Society was established in 1988 and draws its membership from university professors and civilian as well as military magistrates, public servants of high rank and lawyers or general or field officers located worldwide. The Society studies military law, the law of armed conflict and international humanitarian law. The website outlines the work of the Society and lists its publications, congresses and seminars.

International Journal of Law, Policy and the Family

The International Journal of Law, Policy and the Family (online ISSN: 1464-3707) began in 1987, and is published by Oxford University Press. The journal is aimed at lawyers and social scientists, and brings together legal, social scientific, and interdisciplinary articles on the family which are of interest to scholars worldwide. Its website includes tables of contents and abstracts of articles from volume 10 (1996) onwards, together with a search facility. It also has details of the Editorial Board, registration and subscription information, and instructions to authors. 

New Law Journal

Web pages for the New Law Journal, long established weekly news journal of legal happenings, practice, scholarship and debate, published by LexisNexis Butterworths. The site offers the contents of the latest issue only, with very limited online items in HTML format. An annual index of articles published in the print journal from 1997 onwards is also available. The site includes details of back copy ordering and subscriptions.

Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies

Website for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, a student and faculty edited interdisciplinary journal published by Indiana University. The journal aims to publish articles considering a full range of international legal issues and situations pertinent to individual nations and regions such as ethnic conflict, globalization, human rights and environmental protection. The subscriptions tab links through to the publisher's website which provides contents of issues back to Vol 10, 2003, and subscription details for both print and electronic versions.

Journal of Law and Economics

Website for the Journal of Law and Economics (ISSN 0022-2186) published twice a year by the University of Chicago. The journal was established in 1958, and aims to explore the complex relationships between law and economics, focusing on the influence of regulation and legal institutions on the operation of economic systems. Although topically varied, articles are most often concerned with how markets behave and with the actual effects of governmental institutions on markets, providing a basis for an informed discussion of public policy.

Journal of Legal Studies

Website for the Journal of Legal Studies (ISSN 0047-2530) a scholarly print journal published twice a year by the University of Chicago. Inaugurated in 1972, the Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of theoretical and empirical research on law and legal institutions. Economists, political scientists, sociologists, other social scientists, as well as legal scholars, contribute to the Journal. It features articles covering US and international topics including bankruptcy, damages and law reform. The site provides contents listings from 1972 onwards with abstracts from 1997 onwards.

American Criminal Law Review

The American Criminal Law Review is a leading US print journal of criminal law published by students at the Georgetown University Law Center. The journal is produced four times a year and features articles by professors, practitioners and others that aim to provide timely treatment of significant developments in constitutional and criminal law. Each Spring ACLR also publishes an annual survey of white collar crime. The website gives contents listings from volume 34 onwards with subscription and submission details.
