Government of Malawi

This is the official website of the Government of Malawi. It provides a gateway to government news and information on the various government departments. There is information on the Malawi National Assembly and its members along with links to recent government publications and statistics.

New Zealand Privacy Commissioner

Website of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner, an independent Crown entity established by the 1993 Privacy Act. The site provides information about the work of the Commissioner's Office and about the Privacy Act which is available (with amendments) in full-text in HTML. The site also has copies of annual reports, codes of practice and guidance for the public on making a complaint along with a selection of fact sheets issued by the Commissioner dealing with complaints he has investigated. There is also a collection of reports and submissions made by the Privacy Commissioner.

Boundaries Scotland

The Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland (LGBCS) is an Advisory Non-departmental Public Body funded by the Scottish Government. Its job involves carrying out statutory reviews of electoral and administrative arrangements, monitoring electoral arrangements and responding to requests for ad hoc reviews of electoral or administrative arrangements. The site contains maps of all local government electoral wards in Scotland, relevant legislation, reports of reviews carried out, annual reports and minutes of meetings.

Supreme Court of Jamaica

The official website of the Supreme Court of Jamaica provides free access to Supreme Court and Appeal Court judgments in PDF format back to 1997. A small number of Jamaican acts and a collection of online civil procedure forms are also made available in full as PDF documents. Background information about plans to computerise the Jamaican courts and details of the court reporting training programme are also given on the website. There is a page of links to other Jamaican government and legal websites.

Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago

This is the official parliament website of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It provides background information about the House of Representatives and Senate and their committees, together with news and publications. Hansard is available from 1990 onwards and acts from 1999 onwards. The current and previous constitutions of Trinidad and Tobago are also provided, and there is information about the progress of current bills.

Supreme Court of the United States

Website of the Supreme Court of the United States, America's highest court. Provides judgments (under 'Opinions'), rules and guidance, transcripts of oral arguments, a docket search facility which can be used to look up the status of any case filed at the Supreme Court from 2001 onwards and a case citation finder. Also includes the Journal of the Supreme Court, news releases and other information.

European Social Charter

Council of Europe website providing information for the public about the European Social Charter. The site includes recent news, presentations on the charter, information on the European Committee of Social Rights and a survey country by country. The site is fully searchable and available in English and French, with some sections in other languages.

Federal Institute for Industrial Property

Website of the Russian Federal Institute for Industrial Property (Rospatent) a federal executive agency responsible for all aspects of intellectual property protection in Russia. The site has details of the work Rospatent has done with WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and other countries and international organisations. There is information about Rospatent's research and development work and copies of their annual reports.

National Institute of Corrections

The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) a part of the United States Department of Justice. NIC provides "leadership to influence correctional policies, practices, and operations nationwide in areas of emerging interest and concern to correctional executives and practitioners as well as public policymakers." There is an online library, publications and information on training and projects.
