NetRegs aims to provide practical assistance to managers of small or medium sized businesses in Scotland and Northern Ireland to help them comply with their environmental responsibilities. Produced jointly by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, it is designed specifically to help clarify and simplify the environmental legislation affecting manufacturing and service sector operations. The site provides guidance by environmental topic or business type. 

Task Force on Life and the Law

Web pages of the New York State Task Force on Life and the Law, on the website of the State's Department of Health. The Task Force was formed in 1985, and convenes to consider important public policy issues to do with advances in medicine. A fact sheet on the website outlines the Task Force's mandate, and how its recommendations have had an impact on US legislation and court decisions.

Gibraltar Financial Services Commission

Official website of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, which reviews the operation of Gibraltar's legislation and the effectiveness of financial services supervision. Legislative Assembly of Ontario

The Legislative Assembly of Ontario is the official parliament of the Ontario region of Canada. It is based in Toronto. Its website provides information on its structure, current membership and activities. This includes lists of MPs, background information on the operation of the legislative process and details of all bills currently passing through the parliament. Also accessible is the full-text of all Hansard parliamentary debates and committee proceedings from 1984 to date. These cover a full range of social policy, public administration and legal reform topics.

Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island

Official website for the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island included on the website of the Government of Prince Edward Island in Canada. The Supreme Court consists of two divisions, the Appeal Division and the Trial Division. The site contains a database containing the written reasons for the justices' decisions or judgments, or the case headnotes only, as from 1997 onwards. The database can be searched by date, subject, and keyword.

United States Sentencing Commission

Website of the United States Sentencing Commission. The Commission is an independent government agency which establishes policies on sentencing and punishment for US federal courts. It also advises Congress on crime policy and collects and publishes information on sentencing in the United States. The site publishes many documents to support and reflect the Commission's mandate including background and historical information.

Office for the Victims of Crime

Website of the US Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), the official body responsible for funding state compensation schemes for crime victims, supporting them and promoting their rights and contributing to the development of policy. It provides a large amount of information for victims, professionals who work with them and those carrying out research in the area. The site explains the organisation and work of the OVC and makes available its reports to Congress (1996 onwards). There is detailed guidance about applying for funding and organising events.

Accident Investigation : TWA Flight 800, Atlantic Ocean, near East Moriches, New York, July 17, 1996

Presents an abstract of the final report of the Investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board into the in-flight break-up of TWA Flight 800 on July 17, 1996, over the Atlantic Ocean near New York State, USA. U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces

Website of the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces which has "jurisdiction over members of the armed forces on active duty and other persons subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice". The site publishes details of the Court's constitutional basis, designation and history, and outlines the jurisdiction exercised by the Court and the Court's relationship to other US courts of law.
