Nominet

Nominet is the registry for the “.uk”, “cymru” and “.wales” internet domains. It also offers a dispute resolution service. The Nominet website has a searchable register of domain names and provides information about registering a new name. There is also a database of domain name disputes decided by Nominet, together with procedural guidance for dispute resolution. News, reports and statistics are available on the site and there is a timeline showing the history of the internet.

Independent Drug Monitoring Unit

Website of the Independent Drug Monitoring Unit an expert witness company carrying out research into drug prices, drug user surveys and other research and information on drugs. The site provides guidance to UK drug laws including drugs and driving and a selection of articles on drugs policy and issues such as taxation of drugs. There are also sections providing background information on individual drugs such as cannabis, ecstasy, amphetamine and cocaine. Other features of the site include a digest of news stories on drug issues from around the world and a directory of related web links.

Ecclesiastical law

This section of the Lupton Fawcett Denison Till website provides information on ecclesiastical law and is compiled by Lionel Lennox, an ecclesiastical and charity lawyer. There is legal guidance aimed at clergy and churchwardens and covering topics such as employment law, repair and maintenance of churches and churchyards and chancel repair liabilities.

IUS-INFO

IUS-INFO is a subscription website providing full text legislation, case law, news and articles relating to Slovenian law. It is provided in Slovenian with an English interface.

Medical Negligence

Website created by Engish barrister Geoffrey Hall, formerly editor of the Medical Law Reports. The site is the home of the online law report ‘Medical Litigation Cases’ (MLC), edited by Hall; the series covers medical negligence and related subjects such as coroners, medical product liability, sterilisation and wrongful birth. It also includes news, articles and a page of links. Non-subscribers may read the news items, access the links page and view case lists and article titles, but only subscribers can access full-text law reports and articles.

TSO Shop

Online shop of TSO, the privatised UK official publisher, formerly Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO). The site has a Parliamentary and Legal section, which can be searched separately from other TSO titles. This section may also be browsed, under the headings Daily List, Gazettes, Law, Legislation,
Official, Parliamentary, Parliamentary Committees, TSO Ireland and TSO Scotland. Email updates about new titles are available. There is a Libraries page with subscription information and other guidance for librarians.

Wildy & Sons Ltd

Website of Wildy & Sons, the London-based law booksellers. The company sells publications in English covering UK law, EU law, international law and the law of many foreign jurisdictions. The site has an online shop covering books, journals and looseleaf services; as well as conventional books, Wildy’s also sells webinars, student revision aids and e-books. Downloadable newsletters are available listing new and forthcoming titles, as well as an RSS feed.

Routledge Law

The law pages of UK publisher Routledge’s website. Routledge publishes UK, EU, Asian and US law. The site features an online bookshop, downloadable catalogues and companion websites for a large number of Routledge textbooks. It also provides information about the Routledge Law Prize.

Oxford University Press: Law

UK publisher based in Oxford, covering public international law, European law, human rights, constitutional law, legal theory, jurisprudence, UK law and some other areas of law. The website has an online bookshop; it also offers pdf catalogues for scholars, practitioners and international lawyers, as well as a catalogue in e-book format.

Kluwer Law International

English-language law publisher covering many different jurisdictions. The website offers an online bookshop and catalogue. There are RSS and Twitter feeds, and the Online Products page has links to blogs on the law of patents, competition, copyright, mediation and arbitration.
