Asamblea Nacional de Panama

Official website of the Asamblea Nacional de Panama, or National Assembly of Panama, providing background and historical information. Details are given for members of the Assembly and parliamentary proceedings are given in full from 2006 onwards. A link is given to the Global Legal Information Network (GLIN) which provides access to Panamanian legal materials. The site is in Spanish throughout.

Biblioteca Jurídica Virtual

Online library of Mexican law books and journals, provided on an open-access basic by the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM). Journals are accessible from 1990 onwards and over 6,000 Mexican law books are provided. The library can be searched by author or title. The site is mostly in Spanish, but an English interface is available.

Inter-American Children's Institute

The Inter-American Children's Institute (IIN) is a specialised organisation of the Organization of American States (OAS), focusing on the promotion and protection of children's rights. The website has background information on the IIN, including its statutes and rules of procedure. IIN publications are available and the site also provides information on the Institute's work in the areas of child law, children's rights, combating sexual exploitation and tackling child abduction.  The site can be viewed in English or Spanish but some of the content is in Spanish only.

Base de Datos en Español

WorldLII (World Legal Information Institute) database of court decisions in the Spanish language, covering the Central American Court of Justice, the Court of Justice of the Andean Community, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, NAFTA and the Mexican and Venezuela domain names tribunals. WorldLII is a legal information portal developed by the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) and a number of partner institutions (BAILII, AustLII, HKLII, CanLII, NZLII). The search interface and contents are all in Spanish.

Centre for International Sustainable Development Law

The Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL) is based at McGill University Faculty of Law, Montreal. CISDL carries out research into the international law of sustainable development as it relates to trade, investment and competition; natural resources; biodiversity; climate change; human rights and poverty; peace, justice and governance; and health. Its website explains its remit and gives details of its activities.

Tribunal Constitucional Chile

Official website of the Constitutional Court of Chile, whose role is to review the constitutionality of laws. Provides background information about the court and details of its composition, court rules, a link to the Constitution, cause lists and minutes of proceedings. The 'Sentencias' section has judgments delivered in the last 30 days or so and the 'Informes en Derecho' section provides judgments back to 1969. The site is in Spanish only.
