Johore Bar Committee

Official website of the Johore Bar Committee, a body representing legal practitioners in the Malaysian state of Johor. The site includes details of the members of the Committee, Secretariat (including contact details) and Sub-Committees, news and events, a history of the Johore Bar, an overview of Malaysian legal and judicial services, contact details for courts, legal offices, judicial officers and government departments, Malaysia-wide legal directories and a Public Awareness section giving details of the law in areas such as divorce and making a will.

Law Review Commons

The Law Review Commons website brings together law reviews and legal journals provided online by United States universities via bepress Digital Commons repositories. This open access collection contains both current and archive issues, which can be freely searched across a common platform. A simple keyword search engine is offered along with an advanced option allowing users to search within fields and by date range. Reviews are organised by title and subject. Individual articles can be browsed by legal topic, such as litigation, contracts, courts, criminal procedure or environmental law.

Legalis Platform

This website provides full-text files of the legal agenda in Turkey in recent years as well as legislative documents (often sourced from government websites) relating to a wide variety of topics such as administrative regulation, arbitration, employment, telecommunications, the judiciary system, trade, tax, trademarks, and environmental practice. Also provides sample legal documents relating to sales, partnership, merger, rental, employment and trademark agreements. Both the website and documents are available in English and Turkish.

Grand National Assembly of Türkiye

The Grand National Assembly's website has information in English and Turkish on the law-making process in Turkey, including introduction of bills, committee deliberation, budgetary process, ratification of international treaties and publication of laws. It also provides English translations of key documents including the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye and the assembly's  Rules of Procedure. Content in Turkish only includes the verbatim report of proceedings, a legislation database and a database of assembly resolutions. 

British Insurance Law Association

BILA is an organsiation for insurers, insurance brokers, academic lawyers and practising lawyers; its membership is drawn from Britain and also from overseas. As well as being an association in its own right, it is the British chapter of the Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA). BILA’s website describes its work and gives details of its events, but most of the content - such as the Journal and the Research pages - is restricted to members.

Insolvency Practitioners Association

The IPA is a professional association for insolvency practitioners; it is a recognised licensing body for insolvency practitioners (IPs) under the Insolvency Act 1986. The Regulations and Guidance section of the IPA website provides Statements of Insolvency Practice, a Code of Ethics, links to UK insolvency legislation and a guide to insolvency practitioners’ fees. There is also a searchable directory of IPs.

Insolvency Service

The Insolvency Service is an executive agency of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Its function include the administration of the affairs of bankrupt individuals and insolvent companies, and regulation of insolvency practitioners. The Insolvency Service’s website provides guidance, consultation documents and other publications. It also makes available the Individual Insolvency Register, a directory of official receivers, a directory of insolvency practitioners and various other searchable directories.

President of the Republic of Belarus

This website is maintained by the Presidency of the Republic of Belarus. Summaries of laws are given in English with the full texts in Belarusian. Press releases, interviews, news and information are given in English along with background on the country covering the economy, civil society, history, culture and institutions of Belarus. An outline of the governmental system is provided and there are links to the websites of government ministries, regional executive committees and other agencies.
