Bermuda Bar Association

The Bermuda Bar Association is the governing body for lawyers in Bermuda, responsible for regulating and representing the profession. Its website includes a list of law firms/professional companies and a list of practitioners. It provides resources for barristers and attorneys, including the Bermuda Bar Act 1974, the Code of Professional Conduct and associated documents; information about legal education; and details of support groups.

Supreme Court of Albania

Official website of the Supreme Court of Albania, providing the Albanian Constitution, laws relating to the Supreme Court, and judgments from 1999 onwards, in Albanian only.  Also has a calendar of forthcoming cases, a history of the Albanian court system and information about judicial appointments. A limited English version of the site is available.

Guide to legal research in Russia

Gives an outline of the political system, government structure and court system. Covers sources of legal material including the Constitution, codes, laws, decrees, cases and official publications. There is a section on Russian legal databases and a list of books, as well as guidance on the legal profession and legal education.

Vietnam legal research

Online guide to Vietnamese legal research written by Le Thi Hanh who is Director of the Library and Information Centre, Hanoi Law University, Vietnam. The article was published in 2006 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the NYU, School of Law. The author gives background and historical information about Vietnam and looks at the role of the Communist Party and its involvement in the government, social life and the legal system of Vietnam.

Research guide to the Turkmenistan legal system

Online guide to the Turkmenistan legal system written by Dovran Orazgylyjov who is a private lawyer in Turkmenistan. The guide was published in 2006 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the New York University School of Law. The guide has background information about Turkmenistan and sections on the country's legal system, laws and the legislative, executive and judicial powers. Links are given to online sources of legal information and references are given to printed sources.

Guide to online legal resources for African countries by Jane Williams, Foreign, Comparative and International Law Librarian at Albert E. Jenner, Jr. Memorial Law Library at the University of Illinois College of Law. Available on New York University's Globalex website, the guide was last updated by C. Deane in 2024. It includes annotated links to primary resources and to secondary sources including news, indexes, library catalogues, journals, and papers. There is also a list of resources arranged by country.

Social Housing Law Association

Website of the Social Housing Law Association (SHLA), an organisation representing social housing professionals, solicitors and barristers in the UK. The aim of the SHLA is to provide a forum for the discussion of ideas, the exchange of information and training for members. The site gives details of meetings and events, news items, discussion documents and information on how to join. Parts of the site are available to members only.

Online publication by the Law Library of Congress in the US, providing information on legal developments from around the world. Content can be filtered by jurisdiction and year and there is a search facility. Sources include press reports and official publications.

World Law: New Caledonia

World Legal Information Institte page listing links to online resources for New Caledonia, an overseas territory of France.
