Constitution of South Korea

Electronic full text copy of the 1948 Constitution of the Republic of Korea as amended up to 1987 made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution sets out the functions and powers of the executive, legislative and judicial functions of government in the region. It also describes the rights and duties of the individual citizen.

Constitution of Mauritania

Electronic copy of the 1991 Constitution of Mauritania, amended through to 2012, made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The document sets out the functions and powers of the main branches of government, including the judiciary, executive and legislative bodies. It also details the rights of individual citizens.

Constitution of Mongolia

Electronic copy of the 1992 Constitution of Morocco, amended to 2001, made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution details the structure of the state, the role and powers of the main branches of government including the legislature, executive and judiciary, regional government and the Constitutional Court. It also sets out the rights and responsibilities of the individual citizen within the region.

Constitution of Portugal

The text of the 1976 Portuguese Constitution, updated to 2005, provided in English and made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. There are sections on fundamental principles and on the organisation of political power and the economy.

Church of England Legal Services

The Church of England Legal Office provides legal services to the National Church Institutions of the Church of England. Its website has a list of Church Assembly and General Synod Measures back to 1920, along with Statutory Instruments relating to the Church of England back to 1964. There is also a copy of the Canons of the Church of England, plus information about ecclesiastical land and the General Synod.

Ecclesiastical Law Society

Website of the Ecclesiastical Law Society (ELS), an organisation established in 1987 to promote the study of ecclesiastical and canon law. The site outlines the aims of the Society and gives details of its events and publications, including the Ecclesiastical Law Journal. The book, 'The Principles of Canon Law Common to the Churches of the Anglican Communion' can be downloaded in pdf format, free of charge. To accompany the book, the site provides a bibliography, details of selected cases and links to Church resolutions and other official documents.

Constitution of Libya

Electronic copy of the 2011 Constitution of Libya, amended up to 2012, made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. A draft copy of the 2016 Constitution is also given on the site. This covers the form of the state and system of government, fundamental rights and freedoms, the constitutional court and local government.

Advertising Standards Authority (ASA)

Website of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) the regulatory body set up by the advertising industry to police the rules laid down in the advertising codes. The site gives details about the work and powers of the organisation including sections focused on consumers, advertisers, schools and colleges and new media. There are online copies of the British Code of Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing (CAP Code), the Radio Advertising Standards Code and the TV Advertising Standards Code.
