Entertainment Law Resources for Film, TV and Multimedia Producers
This site is compiled by Mark Litwak, a lawyer based in California and specialising in entertainment law. It was originally established in 1995. It includes a series of articles and advice written by Mark Litwak on various aspects of film making and multimedia. There is a blog with regular topical posts. And links to information about books and software, FAQs, and a directory of film festivals.
IEMA
The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) is a non-profit organisation which promotes best practice standards in environmental management, auditing and assessment. It is the UK competent body responsible for administering the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). The site provides information on corporate membership, professional qualifications, certified training courses and regional activities. IEMA publications can be bought online.
Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court Judgments
Website providing access to the Judgments of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC). The ECSC is the superior court for member states of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) including Antigua and Barbuda, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and Montserrat. Judgments are available from 1996 onwards and can be searched using a simple or advanced search option. Judgements can be viewed in full-text in PDF or HTML formats. Recent judgements are listed separately.
World Law : Trinidad and Tobago
World Law Index and Search service covering the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. A range of browse and search features is provided. Link collections include materials relating to the Courts, Government, Legislation, and Parliament, as well as topics including Environment, Foreign Investment and Intellectual Property. A stored search will automatically query all of World Law for items about Trinidad and Tobago. The World Law service is run by WorldLII from the Australasian Legal Information Institute.
World Law: Barbados
Section of WorldLII's World Law Index and Search service covering Barbados. The site offers browse and search facilities including links to Courts and Cases, Government, Legislation and Parliamentary sites for Barbados. A stored search will automatically search for materials relating to Barbados on all of World Law. A limited area search engine offers high focus searches of selected remote sites. World Law was created and is being developed by the Australasian Legal Information Institute
Indigenous Law Centre of Canada
Website of the Indigenous Law Centre of Canada (formerly the Native Law Centre) at the University of Saskatchewanan, which is dedicated to the study and development of indigenous law in Canada. The work of the Centre involves running educational programs, conducting research and developing publications with the aim of assisting in the formulation of policy and justice in the areas of Aboriginal rights in Canada and around the world.
Legislative Assembly of British Columbia
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is the official parliament of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. The website gives information on legislative proceedings and documents, legislation, members of the Legislative Assembly, the Legislative Library and other information for the public. Bills, Hansard (Debates), Reports of Legislative Committees and other related documents from 1992 onwards are also provided. Transcripts of these materials can be searched by keywords and date, and progress of current Bills followed.
Legislative Assembly of Alberta
The Legislative Assembly of Alberta is the official parliament of Alberta province of Canada, and its website provides services to the Members of the Legislative Assembly and the public. The site contains information on members and their duties, transcripts of Bills and their Amendments, Assembly documents, Alberta Hansard and Records of the House, including Standing and Special Committees. The Bills section includes copies of proposed Bills and approved Amendments.
Israel Government Portal
This is the main gateway to the websites of the government of Israel. It includes links to all the main government department websites and the Prime Minister's office. Also provided are links to recent government press releases, documents, reports and statistics; these cover economic, political, social and foreign policy, including the Middle East Peace Process, the official stance towards Palestine and the settlements in the West Bank. There are also guides to studying, working and visiting Israel, elections in Israel and Holocaust Remembrance.
