World Law: Dominica

Links to legal materials and law related Internet resources for the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis (also called St Christopher and Nevis) the independent state in the Eastern Caribbean. Link collections provide access to sites dealing with Cases, Government and Legislation, supported by a saved search to automatically query all of World Law for materials relating to Saint Kitts and Nevis. Site help and on screen translation facilities are also available. World Law is run by the Australasian Legal Information Institute in the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology, Sydney.

World Customs Organization

Website of the World Customs Organization (WCO) an "independent intergovernmental body whose mission is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of customs administration". The site publishes historical and organisational details about the WCO. There are fact sheets on different aspects of international trade and documents relating to customs issues including harmonisation, capacity building and cross border crime. The full-text (PDF) of customs conventions and other convention documents are available, as published from the 1950s to the present.

Nuclear Law

The Nuclear Law pages of the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) website. The NEA an OECD body devoted to developing peaceful nuclear energy. The law pages outline the NEA's legal affairs objectives, as well as its programme of work. The News section of the website includes a collection of reports and other publications.

IP Australia

IP Australia is the government agency responsible for granting rights in patents, trademarks and designs in Australia. Its website explains the agency's work and gives guidance on Australian intellectual property rights and regulation. It provides searchable databases giving details of existing IP rights; journals relating to trademarks, patents and designs; official notices; manuals; Australian Federal intellectual property legislation; official forms; and trade mark decisions.

Gibraltar Finance Centre

Web pages for the Gibraltar Finance Centre, established to advise on banking and business opportunities in the British Crown Colony. The site provides a commentary on Gibraltar's constitution and legal system, including brief discussion of Gibraltar's relationship with the United Kingdom, European Union and the European Economic Area. A series of notes on the Constitution, Court System, Common law and Statute law, legal profession and Financial Services Commission are also available.

Canadian Environmental Law Association

The Canadian Environmental Law Association (CELA consists of lawyers and researchers who have expertise in environmental law and policy and who campaign for better environmental law for Ontario and Canada. CELA's project areas cover access to justice, pollution and health, land use and water sustainability. There are online collections of materials focusing on particular subject areas including mining and renewable energy in Ontario. The site includes organisational information on CELA details of CELA's involvement in environmental litigation.

Schnapf Environmental Law Center

The Schnapf Environmental Law Center was founded in 1998 by US lawyer Lawrence P. Schnapf. The Center's site publishes extracts from selected environmental reports covering significant US state and federal decisions on environmental issues. Brief introductions are given to topics such as brownfield sites, pollution, hazardous waste, due diligence and disclosure of environmental liabilities. A newsletter is available on subscription and there are links to a variety of federal environmental resources.
