Cambridge Solidarity with Iraq (formerly called CASI) was formed in 1997 by a group of Cambridge students in the UK, concerned about the effects of the UN trade sanctions against Iraq. The Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) is an initiative of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the World Bank.
