Official website of the Hungarian National Assembly which is available in English and Hungarian. The site has links to the constitution of Hungary, to legislation and standing orders of the Parliament. There is also information and pictures about the history of the Parliament building.

House of Commons Background Papers

Collection of detailed briefing papers on UK parliamentary practice and procedure, produced by the Parliament and Constitution Centre at the House of Commons Library and published on the UK Parliament website. Includes briefings on public bills, private bills, hybrid bills, statutory instruments, the European Union (terminology, procedures and sources) and a timeline of UK constitutional developments from 1911 onwards.

Parlamento Italiano

Official website of the Italian parliament, containing information about its members, functions and the election of a president. The site is published in Italian only. It contains the text of all laws (leggi) from 1996 onwards. These can be browsed by date, by type of act and by subject. Legislation in progress can also be browsed, along with the decreti-leggi currently being considered and decreti-legislativi from 1996 onwards. Reports, agendas and other documents relating to parliamentary proceedings are also provided along with information on the work of parliamentary committees.

Parliament of Finland

This is the website of the parliament of Finland (Suomen Eduskunta). The site provides details of the parliament's history, speakers, committees, parties and the electoral system, alongside information about international cooperation and the parliament's relations with the EU. There is a searchable directory of members of parliament, a collection of statistical data on parliament and a diagram showing the organisation of the Parliamentary Office, depicting the hierarchical relationships between various parliamentary bodies.

Åland Parliament

Official website of the Parliament of the Islands of Åland (Åland Lagting). The Åland islands lie in the entrance to the Gulf of Bothnia between Finland and Sweden and have historically been of great strategic importance. This strongly influenced their achievement of a neutralised and demilitarized autonomy in 1922, when the Parliament was established.

Northern Ireland Legislation Factsheet

Factsheet produced by the House of Commons Information Office (UK) and published on the Parliament website. The Northern Ireland Legislation Factsheet, last updated in 2010, provides a brief history and clarification of legislative procedure in Northern Ireland, with a particular emphasis on legislative powers remaining with the UK Parliament. Topics discussed include legislative practice before devolution, devolution and the Northern Ireland Assembly, Northern Ireland business in the House of Commons, and tracing Orders and Irish/Northern Irish Acts.

Explains the different types general (ordinary) statutory instrument (SI), how they are made and how they are scrutinised by parliamentary committees. Also covers local SIs, orders in council, legislative reform orders and other types of delegated legislation.

Detailed briefing paper on UK legislative procedure, produced by the House of Commons Library and published on the UK Parliament website in December 2012. Covers government bills, private members' bills, hybrid bills and other types of bill. Also has a section on the Parliament Acts and a section on more specialised procedures such as the carry-over of bills to a new session of Parliament.
