Latvian intellectual property laws

Website of the Latvian intellectual property law firm LATISS. Available in Latvian, Russian, Estonian and English, the site provides a complete and up to date list of all intellectual property legislation in force in Latvia, including the laws on industrial design, trademarks and patents. Links are provided in many, but not all, cases to the full text (in English) of those laws. There is also a complete and up to date list of all intellectual property international treaties and conventions to which Latvia is a signatory.

LawLink

LawLink is a co-operative group of independent New Zealand law firms, established in 1986. Its website provides articles and guides focusing on many different legal topics, and a newsletter highlighting recent developments. The articles can be browsed by subject area back to 2006

Parliament of Canada

The website of the Parliament of Canada provides information about the work, organisation and history of the Canadian Senate, House of Commons and parliamentary committees. Details of current legislation and the work of previous sessions are given. Debates and committee minutes are available from 1996 onwards and bills or acts from 1994 onwards . Other official publications on the site include committee reports and minutes of committee proceedings. There is a directory of current Members of both Houses. The About Parliament section includes historical and procedural information.

Scottish Law Online

A resource service comprising a series of complementary websites, each dedicated to Scots Law and Scottish legal issues. The component elements are: Scots Law Online Resource Centre, A-Z of the Law of Scotland, Scots Law Student Zone, Scottish Law Firm Directory, Scots Law Student Journal and the Corporate Zone providing links to company and business information. The Scots Law Online Resource Centre is a legal portal providing links to Courts, legislation, governmental sources, professional bodies, societies and universities.

Schnapf Environmental Law Center

The Schnapf Environmental Law Center was founded in 1998 by US lawyer Lawrence P. Schnapf. The Center's site publishes extracts from selected environmental reports covering significant US state and federal decisions on environmental issues. Brief introductions are given to topics such as brownfield sites, pollution, hazardous waste, due diligence and disclosure of environmental liabilities. A newsletter is available on subscription and there are links to a variety of federal environmental resources.

FindLaw Lawyer Directory

Website of the FindLaw Lawyer Directory which provides contact details, profiles and links to websites for lawyers and law firms in the United States. The directory can be searched by name, location or legal specialisation. The site also provides access to guidance on hiring a lawyer in the US and a guide to the US legal system.

Legal Week

Legal Week is an online legal newspaper aimed at commercial lawyers in the United Kingdom. Its website provides articles about about law firms, national and international legal developments, management and IT and deals. There is a section providing editorial comment, columns and blogs. Other areas of the site include a vacancies database, an events listing and articles aimed at law students. A searchable archive is available back to 1999.

Jersey Legal Information Board

Official Jersey law site, produced by the Jersey Legal Information Board. Provides case law, primary and secondary legislation, journal articles and related information. Revised laws, laws as enacted and annotated laws are available. The Jersey Law Reports are provided from 1985 to 2009 and unreported judgments from 1997 onwards, together with practice directions, court rules and other court information.
