Official Website of the Croatian Parliament. The site provides background, history and information on the role of Parliament in Croatia. There is a profile of the Speaker, details of parliamentary committees and a list of MPs. Key legislation is provided on the site in full-text in HTML and PDF. This includes a copy of the Constitution, legislation governing the Constitutional Court and the Parliament and the law concerning the rights of minorities. The site can be viewed in English or Croatian.

Constitutions of the Republic of Cuba

Online collection of constitutional documents for Cuba, made freely available on the Political Database of the Americas hosted by Georgetown University in the United States. Includes the 1940 Constitution, the 1976 Constitution, the 1976 Constitution with 1992 reforms and the Constitutional amendments of 2002, all in Spanish. The Political Database of the Americas can be viewed in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Government of Bhutan

Official web portal of the Government of Bhutan. The site has an introduction to Bhutan providing basic information on the location, population, language, economy, politics, society and international relations of the kingdom. Links and contact details are given for the various ministries and other official bodies, members of the judiciary and the National Assembly. Selected legislation is provided in full text in English including a copy of the Constitution. Government publications and forms are also made available.

Government of the Republic of Slovenia

Official website of the government of Slovenia. The site provides background about Slovenia covering its history, culture, economy, tourism and an outline of government administration in Slovenia. There is information about and links to the various ministries and offices and an outline of the structure and role of the Slovenian government. Press releases concerning government activities and Slovenian news items are also given along with a selection of audio and video clips. The site can be viewed in English and Slovenian.

Council of Representatives of Bahrain

Official Website of Bahrain's parliament which consists of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council (consultative council). The site provides background and historical information about the Kingdom of Bahrain and its progress towards democracy. There is information on the members, structure and committees of the House of Representatives along with an outline of the parliamentary process. Annual reports and other official publications are given in English. Legislation, treaties and parliamentary questions are available in Arabic only.

 

Macao Legislation

A selection of Macao legislation provided on the internet by the Government Printing Bureau. Macao is a special administrative region of China and a former Portuguese colony. The laws are provided in full, in Chinese and Portuguese. The Basic Law of Macao, codes, legislation and regulations are included along with treaties and inter regional agreements with China and Hong Kong.

Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia

Website of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. The site gives information on the structure and role of the Assembly and a history of the Assembly building. There is also an outline of the legislative procedure, profiles of members and details of the various standing working bodies who consider laws to be adopted by the Assembly. The Constitution and the rules and procedures of the Assembly are available in full text in English. The site also includes speeches of the President of Macedonia and details of delegations.

Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Website of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The site has background information about the court, its jurisdiction and role under the Constitution along with court rules. The Constitution itself can be viewed on the site in HTML. Decisions of the court are available online back to 1997 in a range of formats. News and press releases are provided along with a selection of FAQs on making an appeal to the court. The site can be viewed in English, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian.

Constitution of the Maldives

This section of the President of the Republic of the Maldives website provides a functional translation into English of the 2008 Constitution made freely available online in PDF. The document covers the powers of the state, the fundamental rights and duties of citizens, the role of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, the legislature -the People's Majlis and the People's Special Majlis and the administration of local regions (Atolls).
