Great Britain-China Centre

The Great Britain-China Centre exists to promote understanding between Britain and China, focusing in particular on legal and judicial reform. The website has information on projects dealing with human rights reporting, the police, judicial studies training and the death penalty. The Centre's journal, the China Review, is available on the site from 2006 onwards.

Hong Kong Law Reform Commission Publications

A HKLII database containing reports and consultation papers from the Hong Kong Law Reform Commission in full-text in a range of formats. The service offers options to browse documents separately in reverse date order, supported by full publication and title search facilities. Data is provided by the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong and is also freely available on the internet in the reports and papers section of the Commission's official website.

Family Court of Hong Kong Judgments

A HKLII database containing selected judgments of the Family Court of Hong Kong from 1973 onwards, in English. Cases can be browsed by name or year and there is a search facility. The Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) free access to law project by the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law and AUSTLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute.

District Court of Hong Kong Judgments

HKLII database containing judgments of the District Court of Hong Kong from 1946 onwards (plus a few earlier cases). The data is provided by the Judiciary of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China. Cases are listed by date and there is a search facility. The Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) is a joint project to provide free access to the primary legal materials of the Hong Kong SAR. The project partners are the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law and AUSTLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute.

Historical Laws of Hong Kong

Historical laws of Hong Kong, scanned from the original printed editions, provided by University of Hong Kong Libraries. The contents are derived from the revised consolidations of 1890, 1901, 1912, 1923, 1937, 1950 and 1964 (last updated to 1989). The laws are searchable  by chapter or ordinance number, title and edition; individual editions may be browsed by ordinance title. 

Court of Appeal of Hong Kong Judgments

A Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) database containing judgments of the Court of Appeal of Hong Kong from 1993 onwards. Decisions are listed by party name and year, and there is a search facility. HKLII is a joint project of the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law and AUSTLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute, aiming to provide free access to the primary legal materials of Hong Kong SAR.

Hong Kong Legal Information Institute: Legislation

Legislation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, on the HKLII website (Hong Kong Legal Information Institute). Includes current ordinances and regulations; constitutional instruments; historical laws (revised editions of laws from 1890 onwards); arrangements with the Macao SAR and mainland China; bilateral agreements; and multilateral treaties. The documents are available in Chinese or English, except for the historical laws, which are in English only.
