The Property Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal deals with disputes over property and land, including residential property disputes, land registration matters and agricultural land matters. Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a professional and regulatory body for property professionals. The Regulation section of the RICS website provides the Rules of Conduct, information about disciplinary proceedings, guidance for professionals and advice about making a complaint. The RICS 'Red Book', entitled Valuation - Professional Standards, is available in the Knowledge section of the site.

Takeover Panel

The Takeover Panel (or Panel on Takeovers and Mergers) regulates takeovers and mergers in the UK, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Its website includes information on the regulatory role of the Panel, the text of City Code on Takeovers and Mergers and related instruments, governing rules, practice statements, forms and checklists. The Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) is a non-departmental public body that regulates social housing in England and develops communities by making available housing and business premises. Its website has details of funding for first time buyers and information about business development incentives.
