The site has information about the court including administrative details such as court lists, fees, downloadable forms and case management directions. There is advice aimed at the general public dealing with issues such as divorce, separation, children, property and money matters and a selection of online brochures dealing with mediation services, parental responsibility and maintenance procedure.

Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History

The aim of the Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History is to "encourage the study and advance the knowledge of the history of Australian law". The Society is named after Sir Francis Forbes who was the first chief justice of New South Wales between 1823 and 1837. The website includes information about the Forbes Society, its council members and annual lectures. The Society's newsletter the Forbes Flyer is made freely available online in PDF. This provides details about events and activities of the Forbes Society and articles of legal and historical interest.

High Court of Australia Library

Website providing information about the library and collections of the High Court of Australia. Access is given to the Library's online catalogue and a selection of library publications. The Monthly List of Acquisitions providing details of new titles added to the library in the last month and a list of the library's serials are both made available as PDF documents. Computers and Law Journal

The Computers and Law Journal is published quarterly by the Australian and New Zealand Societies for Computers and the Law. Website of the Queensland Courts in Australia, administered by the Supreme Court Library. Includes information about the Supreme Court, District Courts, Magistrates' Courts, Children's Court, and Mental Health Court, as well as the tribunals, such as the Consumer and Commercial Tribunal and the Land and Resources Tribunal. Judgments from the Queensland courts are available, along with practice directions and links to state legislation.

Commonwealth Ombudsman Australia

Website of the Australian Commonwealth Ombudsman whose role is to "investigate complaints from people who believe they have been treated unfairly or unreasonably by a Commonwealth Government department or agency". The site provides guidance to resolving complaints and disputes and full-text copies of the Ombudsman's investigations. These are available online back to 1997 and are presented in PDF.

Tasmania Department of Justice

Website of the Department of Justice in Tasmania. This department consists of a number of divisions including the Crown Solicitor, Director of Public Prosecutions, Legal Aid Division, Legal Ombudsman, courts and tribunals, the Prison Service and the Parole Board. The site provides background information to the work of these divisions along with full-text copies of their annual reports and other documentation.
