This facility on the website of New Square Chambers will calculate the dates of the legal terms (court sittings) for the High Court and Court of Appeal from 1972/73 up to 2200/2201. It is accompanied by a Historical Note explaining the use of legal terms from medieval times onwards and by links to the current rules regarding term dates.

Building Regulations

This part of the UK government website provides guidance on obtaining approval for building work. There is a link to the Building Regulations which promote standards for the construction and energy efficiency of buildings in England and Wales. There is a link to the Planning Portal site which gives guidance to planning rules and building regulations for the most common building work projects for the home including extensions and conservatories.

Website of the Office of the Secretary of State for Wales. The site outlines the history and role of the Office and provides a profile of the Secretary of State for Wales who represents Wales' interests in the Cabinet and the UK Parliament. There is background information about Wales and press releases back to 1999. Publications of the Office and speeches by the Secretary of State for Wales are available on the site along with a page of related web links. The site can be viewed in English or Welsh.

This collection, provided by the Cabinet Office brings together all documents relating to public bodies. This includes documents related to reform of public bodies, public bodies and guidance for departments. The reports provide data relating to each executive agency, non-departmental public body, and non-ministerial department. Includes annual editions of the annual publication (now ceased), Public Bodies, 1997 to 2015.

Adjudication Panel for Wales

Website of the Adjudication Panel for Wales an independent body established under Part III of the Local Government Act 2000. The role of the Adjudication Panel is to form tribunals to decide whether members of local authorities, police, fire and national park authorities in Wales have breached their statutory code of conduct. Website of the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) the independent inspectorate and regulator of healthcare in Wales. The HIW is part of the Welsh Assembly Government and has responsibility for reviewing and inspecting NHS and independent healthcare organisations. The site has HIW publications including reviews, inspection reports and corporate documents which can be downloaded in full text along with links to related legislation.

The Legislation.gov.uk website brings together the legislation held on the OPSI website and revised legislation from the Statute Law Database. The site is hosted by The National Archives on behalf of HM Government. This part of the site provides access to Welsh legislation including Measures of the National Assembly for Wales (2008 onwards) and Wales Statutory Instruments (1999 onwards). These can be browsed or searched separately. Legislation which may apply to Wales such as UK Public General Acts and UK Statutory Instruments are also available.

Planning Inspectorate (Wales)

Website of the Planning Inspectorate for Wales. This organisation is responsible for the processing of planning and enforcement appeals and holding inquiries into local development plans. The site has information on how to make an appeal and sections dealing with the different types of appeals that can be made. These include planning appeals, high hedges appeals, listed buildings, rights of way, enforcement appeals and access appeals.
