Practical guidance on controlling and deleting cookies is given on the site with instructions relating to the most popular browsers. There is also guidance to the law on cookies with links to the full text of relevant legislation and a selection of FAQs which include information on the history and purpose of cookies.

Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations

The Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations is produced by the University of Cardiff. It covers journals, law reports and other legal publications from the UK, Ireland, Commonwealth jurisdictions and the United States, including titles covering international and comparative law. The index can be searched by title or by abbreviation, and filtered by jurisdiction. Results provide the official abbreviation, alternative abbreviations, the ISSN and the jurisdiction to which the publication belongs.

Free Representation Unit

Charitable organisation that provides free legal representation in employment and social security cases in the south east of England, via referrals from front-line advice agencies. The FRU website has information about its work, including guidance for referral agencies.

Artlaw

Online version of the Artlaw column from Art Monthly, which is written by barrister Henry Lydiate. The archive, which is hosted by the Artquest website, goes back to 1976. It can be browsed by topic, including art after death, artists' resale right, censorship, contracts, copyright, money, public policy and commissions, studios, and ways of working. There is also a keyword search facility. Artquest is an information hub for artists.

Advicenow

The Advicenow resource guide brings together information and tools on matters relating to the law and civil rights in England and Wales. Information is available on topics including benefits, debt, employment, families, going to court, health and social care, housing and homelessness and immigration. Self-help tools are provided to assist with writing letters relating to benefits and there are details of training courses and workshops to help people dealing with common legal problems. Advicenow's research publications and reports are also available.

Competition Appeal Tribunal

The United Kingdom Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) is a specialist judicial body that hears appeals relating to competition or economic regulation. Its website has details of current and archived cases. It also gives background information about the CAT and its functions, its rules of procedure and practice directions.

Administrative Appeals Chamber of the Upper Tribunal

The Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals) is a Superior Court of Record which hears appeals against decisions made by the Social Entitlement Chamber, the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber, and the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Chamber of the of the First-tier Tribunal. The site explains the structure and work of the Tribunal and the types of cases heard.

Holocaust Denial on Trial

Website hosted by Emory University in the United States focusing on the 2000 libel trial of David Irving v. Penguin Books and Deborah Lipstadt, but also including up to date news and comment on similar issues. The site provides background information and FAQs about the trial and the holocaust. Coverage of the trial includes transcripts of proceedings and the judgment, as well as details of the appeal.
