The tutorial is organised into three sections providing an introduction to the different types of legal materials, electronic resources and printed resources for legal research. There is guidance on how UK and EU law reports and legislation are prepared, produced and published, information on citing legal references and a link to OSCOLA (Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities).
The IALS Student Law Review (ISLRev) is an electronic, peer-reviewed law journal made freely available on the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) website. The journal publishes scholarly articles focused on the areas of expertise at IALS and is run by PhD legal research students at the Institute. Articles can be searched or browsed and downloaded in full text from the site. Details of the Editorial Board and submission guidelines are also provided.

De Jure is an open access online general law journal published by the University of Pretoria, South Africa. The journal carries articles based on original research concerned with "the development and dissemination of cutting-edge legal research", as well as case law and book announcements. It has national and international scope. De Jure, edited by Professor Steve Cornelius, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, aims to support legal academics, practitioners and scholars in their legal research. Free and unrestricted access is available to volume 44 2011 onwards.

The International Law Institute is a non-profit research and educational institution based in Washington, DC, USA. It organises training programmes on different aspects of law, including international law, trade law, international development, and the US legal system. A schedule of forthcoming training programmes is available, with details of course content and intended participants and costs. Training topics include evaluation systems, procurement, and legal drafting. An annual orientation course on the US legal system is also publicised.

The site gives a history of NELLCO, outlining the Consortium's aims, administration and programme of co-operative initiatives in the field of information sharing, networking and innovation in information technology. A list of participating members of the Consortium with links to their individual libraries is available. The NELLCO Legal Scholarship Repository provides free access to working papers, reports, lecture series and workshop presentations of NELLCO members.
