Junior Lawyers Division

The Junior Lawers Division (JLD) is a Law Society group for LPC students, LPC graduates, trainee solicitors and solicitors who have been working for up to five years since they qualified. Its area of the Law Society website has feature articles, advice, news and information about training and networking opportunities. The JLD replaced the Young Solicitors Group and the Trainee Solicitors Group in 2008.

Charity Commission guidance

The Charity Commission for England and Wales provides information about running small charities in this section of its website. It has operational guidance which includes an overview of the law and model forms, letters and declarations. There is a selection of information sheets which look at winding up a small charity, permanent endowment and disposing of land.

Selden Society

Website of the Selden Society, a London-based organisation concerned with the history of English law. The Society draws its membership from lawyers, legal historians and national and university libraries based in English-speaking countries. The website provides information about the history of the Society, and about its publications (including lectures and pamphlets).

Criminal Bar Association

Website of the Criminal Bar Association (CBA) a specialist bar association which "exists to represent the views of the practising members of the independent criminal Bar in England and Wales." The site includes full-text CBA newsletters from 2001 onwards, a list of events and lectures held by the organisation and recent reports of the CBA working parties. A selection of papers and fact sheets are also available to download.

Law Centres Federation

Co-ordinating body for law centres in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The site includes background information about law centres and access to justice. Contact details for law centres are provided, together with policy and research documents, leaflets and a newsletter. Parts of the site are restricted to members only.

England and Wales High Court (Technology and Construction Court) Decisions

A BAILII database containing decisions of the Technology and Construction Court of the High Court of England and Wales. The TCC hears claims relating to building, construction, engineering and computing disputes. The database features all decisions made publicly available through the Courts service from 1997 onwards Cases are listed by party name and year, and there is a search facility. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

England and Wales High Court (Queen's Bench Division) Decisions

BAILII database containing decisions of the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court of England and Wales. Most of the cases are from 1997 onwards, but some earlier decisions are included, the earliest being from 1591. Cases can be browsed by party name or year, and there is a search facility. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) provides freec access to primary legal mateials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

A British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) database containing selected decisions of the Family Division of the High Court of England and Wales, 1995 onwards. Cases are listed by party name and year, and there is a search facility. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) provides free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
