Alliance for Justice

Website of Alliance for Justice (AFJ) an umbrella group for United States organisations working to "advance the cause of justice for all Americans, strengthen the public interest community's ability to influence public policy, and foster the next generation of advocates." The AFJ raises public awareness on policy issues by publishing policy alerts, reports and fact sheets provided on the site along with detailed profiles of judges nominated to the federal bench.

African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights

The African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights was established in 1986 to promote human rights in Africa. Its website provides information on its aims, history, membership and activities. It includes access to its full-text charters, legal documents and treaties relating to human rights law in Africa. Also accessible are resolutions, press releases, communiques and country reports. These cover all aspects of human rights and civil liberties.

Office of the Information Commissioner Ireland

This is the official website of the Information Commissioner who is responsible for overseeing the implementation and operation of the Freedom of Information Act in Ireland. Its website provides access to information about the role of the Commissioner, his/her duties and current activities. It includes access to the full-text legislation, decisions made relating to FOI by the Commissioner, fact sheets, reports and transcripts of speeches from 2001 to date. One: National Gay and Lesbian Archives

The One institute is located in Los Angeles. It is one of the world's largest research libraries specialising in Gay, Lesbian and transsexual social and political history and current events. It includes an extensive collection on HIV/ AIDS history. Its website provides basic information on the content of the collection, recent events and the facility to search the Library catalogue. This contains bibliographic details about books, pamphlets, working papers, conference reports, archives and all types of grey literature relating to gay, lesbian and transsexual interest.

Center for Constitutional Rights

The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) was established in 1966. It is a leading independent US body which campaigns and litigates for the protection of US civil liberties and international human rights. Its website provides information on the aims of the organisation and its campaigns. It includes access to press releases, case notes, campaign materials and full-text pamphlets and reports.
