VERTIC is an independent, non-profit-making research organisation which verifies and monitors international agreements relating to disarmament, peace and environmental protection. Publications available on the website include VERTIC's newsletter, Trust and Verify, as well as briefings, reports, occasional papers and factsheets. The site also provides a collection of national legislation implementing the Biological Weapons Convention, other national implementation information and a database concerning weapons inspections in Iraq.
