Website of the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research (SCCJR) a research organisation lead by a partnership between Glasgow , Stirling , Edinburgh and Glasgow Caledonian Universities. The aim of the SCCJR is to improve criminal justice research infrastructure in Scottish Higher Education Institutions and carry out criminal justice research relevant to Scotland. The Centre is conducting research in the following areas: criminal justice process and institutions; violence, drugs and alcohol; young people and youth justice; gender, crime and criminal justice; research methods and criminological theory; organised and white collar crime and evidence, statistics and trends. Each subject section contains details of publications (journal articles, chapters, books and reports some of which can be viewed in full text), projects, events, news and external links along with details of the SCCJR's work with other bodies. The site also provides organisational information including details of the Centre's five research networks.
