Searchable catalogue of papers relating to appeals from colonial and Commonwealth courts to the UK Privy Council,1792 to 1998. Each record gives dates, party names, the origin of the appeal and other details, and lists the papers produced during the proceedings. For six notable cases, all the papers have been digitised and are available in full. The catalogue is accompanied by contextual essays and background information (incomplete at the time of writing, June 2021). The database is an ongoing project of the research network 'Subjects of Law: Rightful Selves and the Legal Process in Imperial Britain and the British Empire', directed by Dr Nandini Chatterjee of the University of Exeter and Dr Charlotte Smith of the University of Reading.
