Website of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) a membership organisation of Commonwealth Parliaments and Legislatures which promotes parliamentary democracy, human rights and the rule of law. The site gives information on the CPAs work which includes conferences, online courses, workshops and webinars along with the development of publications, toolkits and handbooks. Programmes are aimed at parliamentarians and parliamentary staff and focus on parliamentary practice and procedure.

Privy Council Papers

Searchable catalogue of papers relating to appeals from colonial and Commonwealth courts to the UK Privy Council,1792 to 1998. Each record gives dates, party names, the origin of the appeal and other details, and lists the papers produced during the proceedings.

World Law: British Virgin Islands

Links to legal materials for the British Virgin Islands presented on WorldLII's Countries service. Link collections provide access to Government and Legislation sites and introductions to British Virgin Islands law. A stored search will automatically search for materials relating to the British Virgin Islands on all of WorldLII. WorldLII is run by the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) in the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Privy Council Decisions

Full text judgments in cases heard by the UK Privy Council, made freely available on BAILII, the British and Irish Legal Information Institute website. The Privy Council is the court of final appeal for those Commonwealth countries which have retained the appeal to Her Majesty in Council, or, in the case of Republics, to the Judicial Committee. It is also the final court of appeal for the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and UK overseas territories, and has the function of being the court of final appeal for determining "devolution issues" in the UK.

Commonwealth Association of Law Reform Agencies

Website of the Commonwealth Association of Law Reform Agencies (CALRAs) an organisation set up in 2005 to encourage international cooperation in law reform. The site has background and historical information about CALRAs, details of its aims and objectives and a copy of the organisation's founding constitution. Information about CALRAs' inaugural conference is also provided online along with details of the Executive Committee and membership information.

Commonwealth Legal Information Institute

The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute (CommonLII) is a cooperative legal information initiative led by AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute) providing access to freely available legal materials from all Commonwealth countries. CommonLII contains over 400 databases providing case law, legislation, treaties and law reform reports from more than 50 Commonwealth and common law countries and territories.

Commonwealth Magistrates' and Judges' Association

Web pages of the Commonwealth Magistrates' and Judges' Association (CMJA) an international association which brings together judicial officers from Commonwealth countries. The site gives information about the CMJA's activities including future events and publications. There is information about the CMJA's judicial education programme and the work of the Gender Section. A page of links to Commonwealth organisations, Commonwealth judicial bodies and related organisations is also provided.

Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute

Website of the Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute (CJEI) based at the Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The CJEI forms a network of Commonwealth judicial education bodies providing judicial education programmes and teaching tools. The site provides information on patrons and recent as well as upcoming events organised by the CJEI. A selection of in-house newsletters, bulletins and speeches are made freely available in PDF format.

Commonwealth Lawyers Association

Website of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA) a professional body founded in 1983 whose members include lawyers, national bar associations and law societies in Commonwealth countries. The CLA's aim is to promote "the rule of law throughout the Commonwealth by ensuring that an independent and efficient legal profession, with the highest standards of ethics and integrity, serves the people of the Commonwealth".

Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal

The Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal (OUCLJ) is an academic journal providing a forum for debate in Commonwealth law. The journal is published for the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford by Hart Publishing. The journal aims to "foster the exchange of fresh ideas about the law, and debate over its (the Commonwealth's) future development, between members of this international community". The journal features articles, case-notes and book reviews covering all branches of the law with the caveat that the material is of interest to its Commonwealth audience.
