This is an overview of printed and online sources for German legal research, part of the series of Globalex guides to information sources for legal research. The original Germany guide was written by Rita Exter and Martina Kammer (Linklaters Law firm, Düsseldorf) in 2008. It has been updated in 2022 by Dr Sebastian Omlor, (Professor of Law and Director of the Institute of Comparative Law at the University of Marburg School of Law, Germany). Provides an introduction to the German legal system and guidance to printed and electronic sources including subscription databases and links to a wide selection of additional websites and portals. Includes a section on the availability of legal resources in English.
