Description:
Website of the Commission on Intellectual Property Rights, which was set up in 2001 by the British government to research the strengthening of intellectual property rights in developing countries. The Commission's final report, published in 2002, is available, together with the government's response. The site also provides studies, workshop minutes, conference proceedings, the views of stakeholders and the media on the report, and translations of the report into Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and French. The Commission has now been disbanded but the site is maintained as an information repository.
