Austrian Bar Association

Website of the Austrian Bar, the association representing lawyers practising in Austria. There is a directory of lawyers searchable by name, location, languages spoken and practice areas. Contact details and links to the regional bars are also given along with a guide to Austrian law (in German) which is free to download from the site. The site is presented in German with an English interface.

Maori Law Society

Website of the Maori Law Society, an organisation that was formed in 1988 to support the legal needs of the Maori community. Members include legal practitioners, judges, parliamentarians, legal academics, policy analysts, researchers and Māori law students. There is information on the law reform issues the Society is concerned with and law reform submissions, annual reports and other documents are available. News and details of events are also given on the site.

Juriosity

Website of Juriosity, an online directory and self-publishing platform for legal practitioners.  It includes a directory of barristers and solicitors, which can be searched, or browsed by legal specialism. The Knowledge section of the site offers articles written by lawyers on legal developments and recent cases; these can be browsed by topic or searched by keyword or author. The site is freely accessible but free registration is required before legal professionals can contribute their own content.

Young Legal Aid Lawyers

Young Legal Aid Lawyers (YLAL) is a group of lawyers who are committed to practising in the areas of criminal and civil law that have traditionally been publically funded. The website contains information about the groups objectives, the committee members and the work of sub-groups. Meeting minutes are available, as is a collection of articles, briefings, reports and consultation responses.

Society of Solicitor Advocates

The Society of Solicitor Advocates represents the interests of solicitor advocates in Scotland. The website contains information for solicitors on how to become a solicitor advocate, as well as information for other solicitors and members of the public about how to instruct a solicitor advocate. The library section of the website contains documents that can be downloaded, including consultation responses, newsletters and application forms.

Costs Lawyer Standards Board

The Costs Lawyer Standards Board (CLSB) has been an approved regulator under the Legal Services Act 2007 since 31 October 2011. The website contains a register of costs lawyers authorised and regulated by the CLSB. It also makes available the Costs Lawyer Handbook, comprising of the Code of Conduct, Practising Rules, Disciplinary Rules and Procedures, CPD Rules, Training Rules and other regulatory information and guidance for costs lawyers. The website includes copies of the annual accounts of the CLSB, their business plan and board minutes.

CILEx Regulation

CILEx Regulation is the independent regulator of chartered legal executives, other members of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and non-members who have practice rights in the legal sector. The website has separate sections giving information for consumers and lawyers. It also contains information on practice rights. The website makes available the CILEx Code of Conduct and CILEx Regulation codes. In addition, there is a directory of disciplinary records containing details of all disciplinary decisions made against CILEx (or previous ILEx) members.

Ukrainian Family Law

Website of Ukrainian Family Law, a specialist law firm based in Kiev in Ukraine. The site has a selection of free articles covering a range of topics including divorce, child support, adoption, marriage, annulment and common law marriage. There is also Ukrainian legislation relevant to family law provided on the site. This section includes the Constitution of Ukraine, the Family Code of Ukraine and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

European Civil Law

The European Civil Law website is compiled by Hendrik Goossens a Dutch solicitor practising in Asten in the Netherlands. The site is aimed at foreign practitioners providing information and guidance on the rules of private international law of the European Union. There is background information on the form the European Union takes, its members and institutions. Guidance and links to the full text of European rules on private international law and on the jurisdiction EU member state courts have regarding civil and commercial and family law matters.
