Native Title Infobase

The Native Title Infobase is a freely available online catalogue provided by the library at the Federal Court of Australia. The catalogue includes selected articles, books, conference papers, reports and press cuttings dealing with native title issues. The earliest items date from 1839 onwards. The emphasis is on Australian materials but relevant information from New Zealand, United States, Canada, Africa and Asia is also included.

Al-Muqtafi

The Al-Muqtafi database is produced by the Institute of Law at Birzeit University in Palestine. It gives details of all legislation enacted in Palestine since the middle of the nineteenth century. The database can be searched by subject, historical period, date, keyword or type. Records include the title, date, topic, bibliographic details and links to any amendments. A selection of documents are provided in full-text form, mostly in Arabic. Al-Muqtafi also covers court judgments, some of which are available in full, in Arabic.

Courts and Tribunals in Belgium

Website of the Belgium courts and tribunals covering the administration of justice in Belgium. It gives contact details and background information for Belgian courts including the Cour de Cassation, Cours d'Appel, Cours du Travail and various tribunals.  There is also general information for the public about the law and the judicial system in Belgium. The site is available in French, Dutch or German.

Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations

The Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations is produced by the University of Cardiff. It is a database of abbreviations of English language and selected foreign language legal publications including law reports, law journals and major treatises. The search engine allows titles to be searched using any keywords appearing in the title of the publication and abbreviations can be searched using all or part of the abbreviation. Results provide the official abbreviation, alternative abbreviations, the ISSN and the jurisdiction to which the publication belongs.

Asian Law Online

Asian Law Online is a bibliographic database produced by the Asian Law Centre at the University of Melbourne School of Law. It comprises references to English-language books, journal articles, theses and book chapters. The database can be browsed by subject and country, or searched by keyword and other criteria. Some records give catalogue references for materials available at the University of Melbourne Library and others link to materials available on subscription services.

Institute for Human Rights, Åbo Akademi University

The Institute for Human Rights is part of the Department of Law at the Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Its main areas of research are the rights of minorities and indigenous peoples; economic and social rights; non-discrimination; fundamental standards of humanity; participation and democracy; and human rights in domestic legal systems. The Institute is the Finnish documentation centre for literature on human rights and a Council of Europe depository library for information concerning the European Convention on Human Rights. The website is in English.

Flare Index to Treaties

The Flare Index to Treaties is a free searchable database containing details of more than 2000 of the most significant multilateral treaties from about 1600 onwards, together with selected bilateral treaties signed between 1353 and 1815. The index was compiled by Dr Peter Clinch of Cardiff University and is hosted on the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) website at the University of London. Entries are taken from "Multilateral Treaties: Index and Current Status" by Michael Bowman and David Harris and from other sources.

Copyright Renewal Database

Website providing access to Stanford University's Copyright Renewal Database containing copyright renewal records for books published in the United States between 1923 and 1963. During this period renewal registration was required to prevent the expiration of copyright. The records are held by the US Copyright Office and have been included in this searchable, browsable database. Records can be browsed by year, title or author and searched by keyword or using an advanced search option.

Net Lawman: Irish Legal Periodicals

The Net Lawman website includes an index to Irish legal periodicals from 1997 to around 2015, with a search facility. The index can be browsed by journal and each record gives the article title, author, citation and key words. Links are given to articles available online. Founded in 1991, Net Lawman is an English company that provides legal document templates and law-related services.
