Jewish law research guide

Guide to Jewish legal resources by the University of Miami Law Library. The guide refers mostly to printed sources. It gives an introduction to Jewish law and covers both secondary and primary sources, with notes on how to use primary sources such as the Talmud, the Responsa and legal codes. Bibliographies are also included.

African Union treaties

Treaty page of the African Union (AU) website, providing treaties sponsored by the AU with lists of participants and dates of adoption, entry into force and ratification. The list of treaties can be filtered by subject. All the treaty texts are available English and French and some are also in Arabic and/or Portuguese; the status lists are in English only. 

Death with Dignity Act

Information about the US State of Oregon's Death with Dignity Act, provided by the Oregon Health Authority. Includes the act, together with administrative rules, forms, instructions, annual reports and FAQs. The site is available in ten different languages, including Arabic, Chinese, English and Spanish.

Ministry of Justice

Ministry of Justice section of the UK government website, covering courts, prisons, probation services, civil rights and related matters. Provides research reports and studies, rules and guidance, policy documents and statistics. Offers information to the general public about rights and the law, including legal advice and legal aid; consumer rights; data protection; disability rights; problems in the workplace; and residential property disputes. 

InDret

InDret is a peer-reviewed online journal published quarterly by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain. Available online from 2000 onwards, it focuses on private law, criminal law, criminology and administrative law. Articles can be browsed by year and issue number, or a list of the most-downloaded articles can be displayed; there is also a search facility. The website can be viewed in English, Spanish or Catalan, but most of the articles are in Spanish and/or Catalan.

European Legal Studies Institute

The European Legal Studies Institute (ELSI) is a research department of the Faculty of Law at the University of Osnabrück in Germany. It focuses on comparative law and the harmonisation of law within the European Union. The website provides details of research projects and staff of the institute. Publications are available, including the Institute's Research Paper Series. The site can be viewed in English or German.
