Canadian Research Institute for Law and the Family

Repository of material produced by the Canadian Research Institute for Law and the Family (CRILF), an independent research organisation that was established at the University of Calgary in Canada in 1987 and closed in 2018. CRILF's activities are focused on research and education in the field of family law. A large proportion of its publications can be downloaded in full here, but for some older material only publication details and abstracts are available.

Canadian online law magazine, incorporating blog posts and other features. The main focus is on technology and legal research, but other aspects of law are also covered. The site is for legal practitioners, academics, students and law librarians. It was founded by Simon Fodden, Professor Emeritus at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto.

OECD Legal Instruments

Database of legal instruments adopted by the Council of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Includes decisions, recommendations and conventions, browseable by subject, type, title, date, reference number or committee. There are also basic and advanced search facilities. The database is available in English and French.

Landmark Supreme Court cases

Collection of twenty US Supreme Court cases that feature on US high school and middle school social studies curriculums, accompanied by teaching materials. Developed by the Supreme Court Historical Society and Street Law, the site provides case summaries,  excerpts from the majority and dissenting opinions, newspaper and courtroom accounts of the cases, chronologies, links to related websites and a glossary.

Public procurement

This European Commission site provides a substantial amount of information about EU public procurement rules and policy. Legislation, guidelines, reports and explanatory notes are available, plus details of consultations and general information about remedies, public private partnerships, electronic public procurement and defence procurement. International aspects of public procurement are covered and there is news of the Commission's activities to counter infringements of the rules. The site is in English and can be translated into other EU languages automatically. 

Legal System in Hong Kong

This page forms part of the website of the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It outlines the legal system of Hong Kong, covering the rule of law, the common law, the judiciary and courts, the legislature and other topics. Includes links to the Basic Law and and to other HKSAR government and legal websites.

LSE Law Working Papers

This working paper series was started in 2007 by the Law Department of the London School of Economics (LSE). Originally called the 'Law, Society and Economy Working Paper Series', it publishes interdisciplinary legal scholarship by members of the department. The entire series is available to browse and download. It is also possible to sign up for free email delivery (all papers, or papers on subjects of interest).

Judicial Branch of the State of New Hampshire

Official website of the New Hampshire judiciary in the United States. Has information about the courts of New Hampshire, including the Supreme Court, the Superior Court, the District Courts, the Probate Court, the Family Division and the Office of Mediation and Arbitration. Each section provides background information outlining the functions and jurisdiction of each court, details of justices, opinions (if available), court rules and forms to download. There is a section for lawyers, covering admission to the New Hampshire Bar and other professional matters.
