Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines

This site contains a number of different Constitutions of the Republic of the Philippines, including those dating from 1899, 1935, 1973 and 1987 (the current Constitution). The Constitution sets out the national territory of the Republic and the roles and powers of its branches of executive, legislative and judicial government. Codex Alimentarius Commission

Website of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, set up by the FAO and WHO to develop food standards, guidelines and codes of practice. The website provides detailed background and historical information relating to Codex and food standards. Statutes and rules of procedure of Codex are made available and members of the Commission can be browsed by region or country. A calendar of events gives details of forthcoming meetings and reports of Codex committees and task forces can be viewed in PDF format.

International Child Abduction Database

The International Child Abduction Database (INCADAT) was established by the Hague Conference on Private International Law and is made freely available on their website. INCADAT provides access to decisions taken by national courts in respect of the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Decisions can be browsed by state or searched for using parameters such as case name, court, judges, state, date, legal basis or keyword. The full record (requires free registration) also includes a summary of the facts of the case.

Constitution of India

Full text online copy of the 1949 Constitution of India, amended up to 2019, and made freely available on the Indian government portal. The full text is provided in PDF and the document includes sections on the functions and powers of the main branches of government, including the executive, legislative and the judiciary. It also sets out the rights and responsibilities of the individual citizen in India.

Constitution of Italy

English version of the Italian Constitution of 1948, incorporating amendments made up to 2014, provided by the International Constitutional Law (ICL) Project at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The ICL site also offers constitutional background information and brief historical and news items. The Constitution describes the functions and powers of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. It also provides details of the civil rights and duties of the individual citizen.

Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand

The 2007 Thai Constitution is available on the Asian Legal Information Institute (AsianLII) website. AsianLII is a cooperative legal information initiative led by the Australasian Legal Information Institute. The Constitution has chapters dealing with the role of the King, the rights and duties of citizens, the National Assembly, the Council of Ministers, the courts and local government.

Constitution of Tajikistan

Electronic copy of the 1994 Tajikistan Constitution made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and is amended up to 2003. The document sets out the rights and powers of the executive, legislative and judicial functions of government in the region. It also details the individual rights of the citizen.
