Queensland Legislation

Official website developed by the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Council providing full text access to Queensland legislation. The site includes acts and their subordinate legislation as currently in force, acts as originally enacted and subordinate legislation as originally made back to 1991 and bills as originally introduced into Parliament. Repealed legislaton can be browsed alphabetically. There is help with searching and guidance on the use of annotations. All the legislation is searchable by keyword.

European Ombudsman

The European Ombudsman (EO) is appointed by the European Parliament to consider complaints about the administration of European Union bodies and to adjudicate in cases of maladministration; the Ombudsman also carries out own-initiative inquiries. The EO website includes a database of pending and concluded cases; case documentation can also be browsed by type of document (decision, recommendation, and so on) and year (1990s onwards).

Netherlands Institute of International Relations

The Netherlands Institute of International Relations, sometimes known as Clingendael, is an independent research body which specialises in work relating to conflict, international organisations, the European Union, NATO and the United Nations. Its website provides access to information on its purpose and current research. It includes research reports on all aspects of international conflict and security worldwide and access to the Institute's library catalogue. All information is available in English.

FLAG Foreign Law Guide

FLAG is a searchable directory of foreign and international law holdings in UK libraries. It helps to identify the best locations for particular materials and so makes foreign and international law more accessible to researchers. The database can be searched by jurisdiction, type of legal literature, and/or region of the UK in which the material is available. The FLAG website also provides background information, reports and other documentation, together with details of database updates.

North Dakota Century Code

Online version of the North Dakota Century Code and Constitution made freely available on the internet by the US State of North Dakota. The Century Code contains a codification of all general and permanent law enacted since statehood. The site offers the latest version of the Code, derived from the bill drafting database used by the North Dakota Legislative Council. A table of contents lists each title in alphabetical order. Code titles are presented on the site in PDF. The site offers search instructions and additional links to the North Dakota constitution and session laws.

METRO: Institute for Transnational Legal Research

Website for METRO, Maastricht University's Institute for Transnational Legal Research. Information is provided on the work and aims of the Institute with outlines of its interdisciplinary research programmes, covering matters such as human rights, women and law, constitutional law, and the legal aspects of business and enterprise. METRO specialises in transnational research dealing with issues of European and international integration and identifying common ground amongst the legal systems of European Union member states.

Moniteur Belge

Web pages of the Moniteur Belge/Belgisch Staatsblad, the official Belgian record which is published daily and includes texts of new laws, royal decrees and ordinances, and new regulations, as well as prominent decisions in Belgian law. The complete text of the Moniteur is available from 22 September 1998, and users can search on the date of publication to display the text for that date. The text can be displayed in French, German or Dutch, and the interface is in Dutch or French. 

EUR-Lex: Preparatory documents

Part of the EU's free EUR-Lex web database, the preparatory documents collection consists of proposed legislation, reports and other texts published in the European Commission's COM documents series, back to 1960. The documents can be searched, or browsed by year and month. The site interface is in all of the EU languages and most of the documents are available in multiple languages. The oldest documents are not available in English because there were no English-speaking member states until the UK and Ireland joined in 1973.
