First Amendment Library

The First Amendment Library forms part of the website of the First Amendment Center an organisation affiliated to the Freedom Forum and based at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and Arlington, Virginia in the United States. The Library provides access to information relating to the five freedoms of the First Amendment -speech, press, assembly, petition and religion. The database is arranged by category including freedom of expression, freedom of religion and the Freedom of Information Act.

First Amendment Center

Website of the First Amendment Center, an organisation affiliated to the Freedom Forum and based at Vanderbilt University in the United States. The aim of the Center is to protect First Amendment freedoms. Its website provides access to information about freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly and the right to petition. Subjects covered within these categories include school children's freedom of expression, freedom of information issues, religious liberty in schools and public life, abortion protests and freedom of association.

Child Care Law Center

The California based Child Care Law Center (CCLC) is a non-profit organisation that focuses on the legal issues affecting childcare. The CCLC describes itself as "a legal resource for the local, state, and national childcare communities" and provides advocacy, training and information.The CCLC produces a quarterly newsletter called Legal Update. This is made freely available on the site in PDF and deals with legal developments affecting childcare law.

Wyoming State Bar

Website of the Wyoming State Bar the professional organisation regulating the practice of law in Wyoming in the United States. The site provides information aimed at members and the public. There is a directory of members, a selection of FAQ's on how to make a complaint against a lawyer and links to Wyoming legislation. Press releases are available on the site dealing with Bar news and disciplinary issues. There is also a link to the full-text Wyoming Court Rules, a selection of downloadable forms and links to other Wyoming legal sites.

IP Justice

IP Justice (IPJ) is a California based non-profit organisation that "promotes balanced intellectual property law". The website provides background information about the organisation including the 'Principles of IP Justice', profiles of directors and press releases. IPJ's publications are made freely available on the site in full-text in a range of formats.

Bar Association of the District of Columbia

The Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) is a voluntary bar association representing members of the Washington DC legal community. The site has information about the BADC including contact details for officers, sections and committees. News from the BADC is made available in their free online newsletter, Hearsay which is presented in PDF format on the site. There are also details of the BADC's campaign, Operation Crackdown that provides free legal representation to community groups to help them fight the problems of drug related crime.

West Virginia State Bar

Website of the West Virginia State Bar the organisation representing members of the legal profession in the US state of West Virginia. The site has information about the activities of the State Bar along with contact details of the Board of Governors and members of the various committees. There is a membership directory and information relating to disciplinary procedures and rules of professional conduct. Access is also provided to full-text legal ethics opinions. Services for the public include brief answers to legal problems and links to West Virginia legal resources.

West Virginia Lawyer

The West Virginia Lawyer is a regular, publication of the West Virginia State Bar, the organisation representing members of the legal profession in the US state of West Virginia. Back issues of The West Virginia Lawyer are made available online with issues from 2003 appearing as PDF documents. Current issues are not displayed, but subscription details are given. The journal focuses on West Virginia law and includes feature articles, news from the State Bar and a Supreme Court page.

Wisconsin Lawyer

The Wisconsin Lawyer is the monthly publication of the State Bar of Wisconsin (WisBar), the body representing members of the legal profession practising in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. Contents of the journal, and some abstracts and full text, are available back to 1997. Back issues can be searched by date or topic. Feature articles focus on Wisconsin law and legal developments. The site also includes subscription details.

Website of the State Bar of Wisconsin (WisBar) the body representing members of the legal profession practising in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. The site has information about WisBar including contact details for committee members, press releases and a full-text newsletter, Inside the Bar which gives information on Bar activities and services.There is a searchable membership directory and a page of links to Wisconsin legal resources including legislation, case law, ethics opinions and forms.
