The site provides guidance to key legislation including the Equalities Act 2010 and the Gender Recognition Act 2004. Byelaws are local laws made by local authorities and confirmed by the Secretary of State. The site makes available 7 sets of model byelaws covering a range of subjects that can be used and adapted. Guidance is also given on making, advertising and applying for confirmation for the byelaws.
