Australian Government: Department of Immigration and Citizenship

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship is the Australian government body which handles issues relating to immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Australia. Its website gives an overview of the work of the department as well as providing the full-text of its most recent press releases and annual report. Also available is information on Australian government policy towards immigrants, including transcripts of speeches relating to migration made by the Minister for Immigration and details of aid programmes offered to new immigrants/refugees.

Immigration Law Center on the Internet

Website carrying information on US immigration law and visas, collated and maintained by Boyd F. Campbell, a lawyer practising in Montgomery, Alabama. This site has regular updates about changes in US immigration law and details of a number of immigration laws pending in Congress. There are essays offering guidance on how to become a US citizen, on employment visas for US businesses and on how to find, hire and work with a US immigration lawyer. All the information is freely available and published in HTML. The site also describes and promotes commercial services offered by the practice.

Forced Migration Review

Website of Forced Migration Review (FMR) the journal of the Refugee Studies Centre, Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford. The journal is published three times each year in collaboration with the Global IDP Project of the Norwegian Refugee Council. The editors are Marion Couldrey and Tim Morris. "FMR provides a forum for debate on the most immediate issues facing refugees and internally displaced people and those working with them". The journal includes articles, research abstracts, conference reports and news items.

Immigration Law Practitioners' Association

Official website for the United Kingdom's Immigration Law Practitioners' Association. The ILPA is the UK's professional association of lawyers and academics practising in or concerned about immigration, asylum and nationality law. The site describes the aims and structure of the Association and terms of membership. Information is provided on ILPA training courses and publications, with notes on Parliamentary lobbying activities and policy on European cooperation.

The website provides access to an organised collection of documents and web links dealing with immigration and nationality law. There is free information dealing with immigration rules, visas and work permits for a range of jurisdictions, particularly UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Immigration news and vidoes are also given along with guidance aimed at employers and employees.

Indiana Law Journal

The Indiana Law Journal is a print journal (ISSN 0019-6665) published quarterly by students at the Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington. Papers deal in the main with US legal issues and occasionally with international matters. Recent topics have included tax law, use of copyright law on the internet, criminal corporate liability and sexual harassment.
