Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (DBEIS) is a UK government department formed in 2016 by a merger of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills with the Department for Energy and Climate Change. The DBEIS is the government department responsible for business, industry, science, innovation, energy and climate change. Its webiste provides press releases, policy papers, statements, statistics and other information on these subjects.

Communities and Local Government

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) was created in 2006 from the former Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM). Its website has sections for the following areas of departmental responsibility: housing; local government; communties and neighbourhoods; fire and emergencies; regeneration and economic growth; planning, building and the environment. Documents available on the site include consultation papers, research papers, reports, legislation, statistics and press releases.

Northern Ireland Office

Official website of the UK government office of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. The Office is responsible for overseeing devolution in Northern Ireland, representing Northern Ireland interests at UK Government level and UK Government interests in Northern Ireland and for national security and human rights issues. The site provides details of consultations and a searchable collection of reports grouped by topic including criminal justice, parades, elections, decommissioning, security and policing.

Insolvency Service

Website of the Northern Ireland Insolvency Service. The site provides information and guidance on the various issues dealt with by the Insolvency Service: bankruptcy; liquidation; partnerships and disqualification of directors. Full text insolvency legislation and downloadable forms are provided along with a searchable version of the Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) Register for Northern Ireland. There is guidance aimed at insolvency practitioners and a directory of insolvency practitioners in Northern Ireland.

Official website of the Canadian Government. Includes an alphabetical directory of federal government websites and a set of links to provincial and territorial government sites. The Publications and Reports page is a portal to Canadian government publications and information about them. The site is available in French or English.

USA.gov is the main portal to US federal, state and tribal government information on the web. It offers an A-Z of government departments (with links), a directory of web-based government services and contact details for all sorts of government bodies. Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh

This is the official gateway to the internet sites of the Bangladeshi government. It provides links to the main ministries, the judiciary, other government departments and parliament. There is background information on the legal, education, governmental, health and tax systems in Bangladesh. Also provided are links to current news about the region, the full-text of the constitution and recent economic and budgetary reports. All information is offered in English.

This is the official website of the Prime Minister of Denmark. It provides information about the roles and responsibilities of the Prime Minister and details about the current incumbent. The latter includes a brief biography and access to recent press releases, important articles and speech transcripts. These cover all aspects of social, economic, political and foreign policy. The site is available in English or Danish versions.
