Chatham House

Chatham House was founded in 1920 (as the Royal Institute of International Affairs) to stimulate debate and research on important developments in the international arena. Its website contains details about the Institute, its members, publications and recent events. Some documents can be viewed online, others are offered to subscribers only. All aspects of British foreign policy and international security are covered, including US foreign policy and the 'war against terrorism' and the Middle-East conflict.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This is the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Jordan. It provides access to information about the role of the office and its current activities including coverage of Jordanian foreign policy and diplomacy. The site includes recent press releases, government statements and full-text documents including a copy of the Jordanian Constitution, the National Charter and the Political Parties Law. Contact details of embassies in Jordan are also provided. The site can be viewed in English and Arabic versions.

Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Washington DC

This is the official website of the Haitian Embassy in the United States. It provides access to basic factual information about the economy, business opportunities, culture and society of Haiti. It includes access to press releases from the Haitian government plus links to Haitian government Websites. The press releases contain information on elections, human rights and violence in the region. A selection of legal materials are provided on the site including a copy of the 1987 Constitution (in French and English) and a copy of the country's Electoral Law (in French).

Government of Namibia

This is the official gateway to the Namibian Government. It provides access to government press releases, links to the websites of the main government departments and agencies and background information about the political structure, economy and culture of the region. There is information on the President, Prime Minister and other cabinet ministers and a selection of full text legislation including a copy of the constitution can be downloaded from the site.

Human Rights and Democracy reports

This site provides access to all the Human Rights and Democracy annual reports published by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 1998 onwards. They provide detailed information on the strategy and actions of the British government in promoting human rights abroad. They also include comments on FCO activity by the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Comittee and key NGO bodies.

Council of the European Union

The Council of the European Union is the principal decision-making body of the EU. It is composed of government ministers from each member atate. The Council's website has a news section and pages devoted to key policy areas. The Documents and Publications section of the site includes an Agreements (treaties) Database and a register of internal documents. Information is provided about Council meetings; Inter-Governmental Conferences, the European Council; and current, past and future holders of the Presidency of the EU.

Fedflix: free film from US government

FedFlix, available from the Internet Archive, was a collaboration between the US National Technical Information Service and Public.Resource.Org. It provides free access to films from branches of the American government, including public information films and historic film clips and footage from the National Archives, the Department of War, the United States Forest Service, the Federal Civil Defense Administration and other departments. The site, which was archived in 2008, includes information on sources, copyright and technical details. 

Fletcher Forum of World Affairs

Website of the Fletcher Forum of World Affairs an online journal produced by students at The Fletcher School at Tufts University in the United States. This foreign affairs journal is published biannually and covers the legal, political, economic, environmental and diplomatic issues surrounding international affairs. The journal includes feature articles, book reviews, interviews and editorials. Contents pages and abstracts are made freely available on the site back to Fall 2000 with selected articles from each issue provided in full text.
