The documents can be searched, or browsed by year and month. The site is offered in each of the EU languages.
The Publications Office of the European Union is the European Union's official publisher. Its website includes the EU Bookshop as well as links to key resources including EUR-Lex, Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the EU Open Data Portal, the CORDIS research and innovation database and EU Who Is Who. It also provides background information about the Publications Office and a newsletter which covers EU policy and recent publications. The interface is available in all the EU languages.
The European Commission Press Release Database (sometimes known as Rapid) contains press releases, factsheets and other bulletins issued by the European Commission, as well as press releases from the Council of the EU, the Court of Justice and some other EU institutions (but not the European Parliament). It is managed by the Communication department of the European Commission. It includes all Commission press releases since 1985. The content is accessible without registration and RSS feeds are also available to all users.
The home page for the Directorate General of Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the European Commission. Its mission is to promote a high level of employment and social protection, to raise the standard of living and quality of life, and to promote economic and social cohesion and solidarity among Member States. It also tackles discrimination. These pages provide information and news on the various areas of activity currently undertaken. The e-library contains details of publications, including those of the former DG, with links to many of them in full text.

Covers EU policy on the Single Market - which aims to secure the free movement of goods, services, people and capital in the EU - business and related matters. The site provides organization charts for the D-G, lists calls for tender, outlines the D-G's information activities and explains its work on impact assessments and policy evaluation.
The Legal Service of the European Commission is the in-house legal adviser to the Commission. Its functions include drafting legislation and representing the Commission in the courts. The Legal Service is also responsible for coordinating the official codification of Community legislation. The website gives background information about the role and structure of the Legal Service, including an organisation chart and links to official documents and related organisations. It is available in English, French and German.
Website of the European Commission's Directorate-General for the Environment. The Directorate's main role is to develop and monitor the EU's environment policy. The Policies and Resources sections provide a large amount of information and documentation concerning the work of the D-G, in areas including climate change, land use, nature and biodiversity, sustainable development, waste and water. Materials provided include legislation, reports, conference papers, newsletters, speeches and statistics.
The Misleading and Comparative Advertising Web page is part of the European Commission's Health and Consumer Protection website. Primarily aimed at the consumer, it offers short definitions of misleading and comparative advertising and provides current EU legislation on the subject, with other relevant documents. The page is available in English, French and German.
A series of occasional papers launched by the EU's Competition Directorate-General in January 2014. The papers cover competition policy issues and important cases.
The Archive of European Integration (AEI), maintained by the University of Pittsburgh, is an online repository of documents relating to the development of the European Union. It consists of EU official documents - such as green and white papers, treaties and reports - and independently-published materials such as conference papers, working papers and journal articles. The Archive can be searched by keyword, or browsed by topic, year, or document number.
