One Europe or Several? The Dynamics of Change Across Europe

This is the website of an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) programme which studied several areas of change and development within contemporary Europe. It ended in 2003. The programme aimed to examine " ... contemporary processes of political, security, economic, social and cultural change across the European continent, notably in relation to influences on convergence and divergence within and between European countries and prospects for integration and fragmentation." InterAction : American Council for Voluntary International Action

InterAction is a 'coalition of more than 150 non-profit organizations working worldwide and a leading advocate in the U.S. for humanitarian assistance to the world's poor.' The site includes information on the latest humanitarian emergencies, InterAction's Development Division projects, links to development-related and other external sites, extensive details of forthcoming events, InterAction publications and also access to many of the articles from 'Monday Developments' - InterAction's biweekly publication.

Liechtenstein-Institut

The Institute was founded in 1986 and is engaged in teaching and research. It is private and independent in status. It is situated in Bendern, Liechtenstein. Various social sciences are covered - with research on economics, politics and law. Working papers can be viewed online. NB. All information is in German only.

It was established as a project by the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications. Users can register for email alerts.

Berkeley Program in Law & Economics Working Papers

The Program in Law & Economics at University of California, Berkeley provides an interdisciplinary forum for scholarship in the fields of business law, and law and economics. This series of working papers are freely available online with abstracts back to 1995, and full text available for most papers from 1998 onwards. The series is hosted in the eScholarship repository, part of the California Digital Library.

Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies

The Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, Italy, is part of the European University Institute, and carries out research in Law, Economics, History and Civilisation, and Social and Political Sciences, focusing on European issues, in particular European integration. Its website gives details of current research activities and contains a number of publications and papers which may be downloaded in PDF format, in both French and English. There is also a full list of papers published by the Centre, which may be ordered in printed format.
