Official website of the Estonian Consumer Protection Board, which is responsible for the rights of consumers and their interests, and consumer policy in accordance with UN and EU consumer policy. The site features news and press releases, and an overview of consumers' rights and protection policy. In addition there is appropriate legislation including the Consumer Protection Act, the Food Act, and the Advertising Act. Also included are details of International Cooperation, and annual reports and statistics. The site is in Estonian, with some content in English.

Public Justice

Washington DC-based non-profit law firm, founded in 1982 and formerly known as Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. Public Justice brings cases to counter abuses of corporate power, the undermining of civil rights/civil liberties and threats to the environment. Its website has details of its work, including a list of cases, with legal briefs and opinions (judgments) attached. A podcast and a blog are available and there is a sign-up form for the Public Justice newsletter.

Financial Consumer Agency of Canada

Website of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, a federal regulator established in 2001 to oversee consumer issues in the financial services sector. The site provides information about the Agency's history, role and mandate, and details of the federal and provincial organisations it regulates, such as banks, credit unions, trust and loan companies, insurance companies, retail associations and co-operative credit associations. The site is arranged into sections aimed at consmers, industry and the media.
