This website, run by volunteers, tracks the work of the New Zealand Parliament. It aims to make it easy for the general public to find out what is happening in Parliament. The site provides parliamentary debates; information about parliamentary questions and the progress of bills; information about MPs and political parties; and other resources.

Indian Parliament

The website of the Parliament of India provides information about the lower and upper chambers, the Lok Sabha (LS) and the Rajya Sabha (RS), and about the President of India. There are profiles of MPs and a copy of the Constitution. Full text bills, committee reports, speeches and debates are also given along with schedules of parliamentary business and rules of procedure. The Knowledge Centre section of the site provides access to research reports and other publications.  The site is available in English or Hindi.

United States House of Representatives

The website of the US House of Representatives includes schedules of debates and committee hearings, information about votes and current bills and a directory of Representatives. The full text of current and older bills can be accessed via links to the Library of Congress’s Thomas website. The United States Code, which is produced by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the House, is also available, together with links to individual public laws (1995 to date and 1789 to 1875).

Legislative Assembly of British Columbia

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is the official parliament of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. The website gives information on legislative proceedings and documents, legislation, members of the Legislative Assembly, the Legislative Library and other information for the public. Bills, Hansard (Debates), Reports of Legislative Committees and other related documents from 1992 onwards are also provided. Transcripts of these materials can be searched by keywords and date, and progress of current Bills followed.

Legislative Assembly of Alberta

The Legislative Assembly of Alberta is the official parliament of Alberta province of Canada, and its website provides services to the Members of the Legislative Assembly and the public. The site contains information on members and their duties, transcripts of Bills and their Amendments, Assembly documents, Alberta Hansard and Records of the House, including Standing and Special Committees. The Bills section includes copies of proposed Bills and approved Amendments.

Parliamentary Counsel Office

The UK Parliamentary Counsel Office (PCO) is a team of lawyers based in Whitehall, London, who draft Government Bills for introduction into Parliament (except those relating only to Scotland). The site publishes an overview of the stages in the drafting of a bill and its passage through Parliament. A history of the PCO is presented, and other features of the site include an essay on legislative drafting by Geoffrey Bowman, and a set of links to parliamentary and government websites.

Bills before Parliament

Detailed information about public bills currently before the UK Parliament, on the Parliament website. Bills are presented in full, together with information about their progress through the legislative procedure in both Houses. This includes details of amendments, explanatory notes, debates, proceedings and transcripts of evidence and other related documents.

Legislative Assembly of Nunavut

Official website of the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut province in Canada. The site contains bills, debates and proceedings of the Legislative Assembly (Hansard), reports of standing committees (in PDF format), and a link to the Nunavut Legislative Library catalogue. The site is published in English and Inuktitut language versions. Some items are also provided in French and Innuinaqtun
