Constitutional Court of Austria

Official Website of the Austrian Constitutional Court. The site provides background information on the jurisdiction of the Court which covers the review of norms, impeachment and electoral matters.There are details of the justices, information on the organisation of the Court and how decisions are made. A selection of Austrian Federal Constitutional Laws is given in PDF along with a copy of the Constitutional Court Act 1953. A number of full-text decisions can be viewed on the site in German only. The site can be viewed in German and English.

Foreign Law Translations makes available translated French, German, Austrian and Israeli cases and French and German legislation in the areas of constitutional, administrative, contract and tort law; most of the content is from France and Germany. Austrian Legal Information System and Laws: A Brief Overview

Online guide to Austrian legal research written by lawyers working for Austrian law firms- Johannes Oehlboeck who is a lawyer specialising in competition law, antitrust and IT law and Immanuel Gerstner who is a partner at SCWP Saxinger Chalupsky & Partners. The guide was published in 2005 (and updated in 2017 by Brigitte Barotanyi) on the Globalex website and is made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

N-Lex

N-Lex provides a single search interface that can be used to search any of the national legislation websites of the EU member states. The search page is available in all 24 EU official languages. When searching by key words, either machine translation or the multilingual Eurovoc thesaurus can be used to translate them. For each state there is also general information about the types of legislation produced and the website to which the N-Lex search interface applies.
