Ohio State Bar Association

Website of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) a voluntary association representing members of the legal profession practising in Ohio in the US. The OSBA website provides information about the Bar Association including a calendar of events and a membership directory. For the public there are a selection of full-text pamphlets on a range of legal subjects made freely available in HTML. Subjects covered include Ohio's marriage laws, Ohio's court system, buying a home, intellectual property rights and living wills.

Oklahoma Bar Journal

The Oklahoma Bar Journal is the official publication of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is made freely available in full-text on their website. Content focuses on legal developments in Oklahoma, practice management and scholarly articles, book reviews and Bar news. The journal is available in full (in HTML format) back to 2005 with the subject and authors indexes of earlier issues available back to 1999. There is a separate section featuring articles written by the president, and a summary of actions taken by the Board of Governors at its monthly meetings.

North Carolina State Bar

Website of the North Carolina State Bar the organisation responsible for regulating the practice of law in North Carolina in the United States. The site has information about the State Bar including contact details of staff, Bar news, a selection of State Bar forms which can be downloaded in PDF and a members directory. The ethics section has an index of ethics opinions and a search engine allowing you to search for opinions by number, title, keyword or date.There are also details of disciplinary actions going back to 1999.

Center for New York City and State Law

Website of the Center for New York City Law at the New York Law School. The Center carries out research, holds courses and events and produces publications. Their stated aim is to "provide information about, and analysis of, the laws and legal processes that govern New York City". The website has information about the Center and its work including details of the Advisory Council and faculty members. There is a searchable database of New York Administrative Decisions and an annotated collection of links to New York City legal websites.

State Bar of New Mexico

Website of the State Bar of New Mexico (SBNM) which is a professional organisation representing attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of New Mexico in the US. The site has information about the SBNM including contact details for the Board of Bar Commissioners, a membership directory, information about the divisions, sections and committees and details of training courses and continuing legal education programmes. Ethics Advisory Opinions are available in full or as summaries from 1983 to 2006.

New Mexico Bar Bulletin

The New Mexico Bar Bulletin is published weekly by the State Bar of New Mexico and made freely available on their website. The journal is presented in full-text in PDF format and is available online back to 2005. Articles, essays, opinion pieces and regular columns feature in the New Mexico Bar Journal with content covering bar news and developments in New Mexico law.

State Bar Association of North Dakota

Website of the State Bar Association of North Dakota (SBAND) the official body representing lawyers in North Dakota in the United States. The site gives information about SBAND including contact details for the Board of Governors and Bar Association news. There is a members' directory that can be searched by name or browsed alphabetically, careers information and details of continuing legal education. A legislative watch list is made available giving full-text versions of North Dakota House and Senate bills and resolutions grouped by category. These can be viewed in PDF.

State Bar of Nevada

The State Bar of Nevada regulates the legal profession in the US state of Nevada. Its website has details of committees/sections and information about continuing legal education. It also covers ethics and lawyer discipline and provides ethics opinions back to 1974. The Nevada Lawyer and other publications are available and there is a directory of members. For the public there is guidance on making a complaint and information on subjects such as bankruptcy, divorce, power of attorney and making a will.

New Hampshire Bar Association

The New Hampshire Bar Association regulates attorneys licensed to practice in the US state of New Hampshire and also provides continuing legal education. The site includes details of events and courses, conduct rules, practice guidelines, publications including New Hampshire Bar News, and a directory of members. For the public there is information about the New Hampshire court system and guides to key legal topics, including divorce, consumer protection, bankruptcy, elder law, taxation and criminal law. Parts of the website are only available to members.

Nebraska State Bar Association

Website of the Nebraska State Bar Association, the professional organisation representing lawyers and judges practising in Nebraska. The site gives a history of the Bar and contact details for members of the executive council and staff. Information for members includes current events, membership services and contact details for sections and committees. Resources include the Nebraska Lawyer magazine, The Complete Lawyer and an Internet Resources page in the public section. Parts of the website are available to members only.
